Uncommon Questions for OC’s
Hell yeah, lets do it. Sorry if some of these are lacking, I’m still working on my boys.
21. Why do they get up in the morning?
Amara - Well, unfortunately, she can’t stay in bed all day. She always has the underlying urge to go explore or perch on something tall. A big motivator for her is Myss as well, she wants to be with her and make sure she’s safe.
Damien - There’s always something new to learn and explore. He enjoys going to alien planets and figuring out their inner secrets. Damien always wants to try to find new ways to use and manipulate his light, seeing how far he can push himself and what he can discover about The Light itself.
Arthur-7 - He’s always gotten up early, must’ve been something in his original programming, he doesn’t really think about it. Artie doesn’t like to be bored, he wants to keep busy, and he will find ways to keep himself occupied.
27. What causes them to feel dread?
Amara - Anything having to do with dark spaces and the Hive and being physically pinned down and helpless in battle. Also, the mere thought of losing anyone close to her makes her stomach drop instantly, she can’t go through that anymore.
Damien - Anything that makes him feel like he’s lost his Light again. He feels so useless and helpless without his Light, the Red War was hell for him because he relies so heavily on it.
Arthur-7 - Dark. He doesn’t like dark spaces at all. He has a lingering memory as and Exo of just darkness, he doesn’t even know where it’s from but it terrifies him. (Yes, he sleeps with a night light)
34. How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?
Amara - If she’s properly distracted, guilt disappears like smoke. But she can’t stay busy 24/7. It’s always been difficult for her to stop blaming herself and stop constantly remembering things that were her fault, even if it was months and months ago. Guilt follows her around like a distant shadow, though, she’s good at handling it.
Damien - Easily. He doesn’t socialize much, so he doesn’t have to worry about being guilty for anything. He keeps to himself 80% of the time.
Arthur-7 - eh, so so. He’s very aware of when things are in his control and out of his control. So, he knows whether or not to waste processing power on feeling guilt, or feeling like he could’ve changed something. When he does feel guilt, he’s really good and separating the emotion from himself. Accepting it, working with it, and understanding it.
Thanks for the ask, love!
