Keigo is the biggest romantic between the two of us!!! He's never been in an actual relationship before, so I think it took both of us by surprise by how much of a romantic he is. But a lot of it is in his very silly, Keigo way. Like if we're somewhere and it's raining and there's a puddle or water pooling a bit in a parking lot he will literally scoop me up bridal style so my shoes don't get wet. Which is very sweet, but Keigo we are in the grocery store parking lot and there's people staring. There's this one place we always order food from where he will put in the order, and then I'll pick it up on the way home from work, and he always puts the name in as "Most Beautiful Girl in the World." We pick up from there often enough that the employees know it's for me, and they LOVE it. He loves to leave little love notes in my purse or on his side of the bed if he wakes up before me, if I have a bad day I'll come home to an incredibly well thought out at home spa date night. He makes me giggle and kick my feet with his sweetness.
We are both equally the sappiest motherfuckers, oh my god. Ohhh my god. Those love notes I mentioned? Yeah, each one of those are saved in a binder I specifically made for them. If we go to an event that has a physical ticket we save it in a mug we have in our kitchen, and even if it doesn't have a physical ticket we'll make one. In the beginning of our relationship it was hard for Keigo to really name the emotions he was feeling, so instead he would describe the physical sensations he would get. We want on a date around Christmas time, and when we were walking back to the car he let go of my hand and instead wrapped his arm around my shoulder to pull me in close and said "You make me feel internally warm." And it was so cute and so innocent and it's one of my favorite memories with him. Now every once in a while one of us will tell the other that they make us internally warm.
