How do I correctly convey that I love badass heroines who can and will stand up for themselves and kick ass - but am also a slut for brooding, possessive men who get all grim and menacing when their love interest is hurt and then quietly ask "...who did this to you?" before going and beating the absolute shit out of the aggressor ...?

Friendly Reminders Towards White Writers

It’s racist to write racism towards one of your POC characters, only to have a white character stand up for them.

It’s racist to write POC character(s) saying the n-word or just so you can have them say the n-word.

It’s racist not to do your research on a culture and write it based on stereotypes or only what you know.

It’s racist to use stereotypes in general.

It’s racist to have a white character benefit from a POC character’s suffering in anyway, no matter how minuscule.

TL;DR - Don’t be a racist writer.

When I post a fic I’m confident in after I haven’t written anything for a while and it gets no interaction
