anyone else got mixed feelings abt the dsmp animated cartoon thing thats being made
not about whether it’s real since i do follow them and they actually post cool-looking updates but abt the existence of it itself
ill elaborate in the tags since it’s a little negative
#i mean absolutely no offense because i am sure the people in charge are going to try their best but. let me put this simply#i dont trust anyone to like- make script choices abt the dsmp ToT#like i just feel like theyll end up making dream nicer then he was- or make tubbo and fundy nicer then they were-#or that they’ll make wilbur have ‘evil foreshadowing’ to show he was ‘always bad’#or that they’ll make wilbur touchy-feely or use a sword; when— well weve all seen the posts about how that’s noncanon and kinda ableism#i mean no offense but i simply Do Not Trust that they are gonna like. do it entirely fairly#and a lot of people will be watching this and probably taking it as fact. but unlike sad-ist stuff which is short and doesn’t have much#moral interpretation#these guys will have the ability to change the actual lines and behaviors of the characters#and that! bothers me!#it makes me want to be in the writers room smacking anyone over the head who does it incorrectly#again though that’s just my weird irrational fear#im probably just totally being a dick and blowing it out of proportion because people can interpret things however they want#it’s just.#yeah
