MORALLY PERFECT
Lord, I come to You today by virtue of the Blood of Jesus, I confess to You the failures of my life and that my desire has not always been for moral perfection. Help me today to put the past behind me and forgive myself, as You have forgiven me.
From this day forward, make me truly a new creature in Christ. Let old things completely pass away, and allow all things to become new. Help me begin walking in the truth of promises set forth in Your Word which state that I am clean before You.
Cause me to meditate each day on the fact that there is no condemnation to anyone who is in Christ Jesus, who walks not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. The enemy of my soul tries so often to remind me of the past and make me feel as though I am still a failure. When I am tempted to believe him, help me to remember that those whom Your Son has made free are free indeed.
Let me be a discerning woman, capable of distinguishing between right and wrong in every kind of situation. Judging the right thing to do, give me the strength and willingness to carry out the convictions you place within my heart.
Focus my affections on eternal things--that I would seek to maintain moral perfection day by day as I live for You.
