I got kicked out of a rock concert this week for being me. I had the audacity to cover my breasts with duct tape on that warm summer night and then complain when I was unfairly and unconstitutionally told to put on my shirt. I'm sorry to say there are mean spirited #boobypolice lurking out there, and sometimes they have the privilege of being in charge. #thingsneedtochange #dontshamemybreasts Turns out Ohio's state law says women may show their chests any place a man can, which is most public places. Many municipalities still include only the female nipple in the city's definition of nudity, even though discriminating against only female nipples is unconstitutional according to the state of Ohio. Isn't it ironic that the #flaminglips could show videos with nipples but my duct taped boobs were #morallyunacceptable . yep. That's what I was called that night. It hurt like hell. I'm doing better today but I'm still mad as hell. An email is in progress. I don't think I'm shameful for wanting the same freedom that my brothers have, to feel the warm sun or cool night air on my bare chest. Seems like a silly thing to deny a human being.
