"Quick" intro to Morbid Minds

Morbid Minds is that gay slice of life romance that i'm writing about my ocs Marco, Tristan, Josh and Tyler but you'll see me talk more about Marco and Tristan because it's more focused on them
"gay slice of life romance" really doesn't capture it very well because 80% of it is Marco being mentally ill and wanting to kill everyone, there's a lot of talk about mental health and the consequence of troubled kid being seen as dangerous rather than "potential abuse victims"
quick context : takes place in Grundale, Connecticut and starts in 2022, the characters are in high school (but i draw them as being 18-19 yo most of the time)
Marco is an outcast in high school, mocked and bullied for his bad behaviors and "school shooter looks" even the school staff seem to lose hope about his case. He doesn't really try to change either and grows more depressed and angry everyday until he meets another lonely guy : Tristan. Josh is part of the popular clique in school, everything seems to be going exactly how he dreamed high school would be, until his double faced personality is noticed by Tyler, some sort of stalker

MARCO KLEIN-VALDEZ
-born april 15th 2007, he has ADHD, depression and suspected borderline personality disorder and dyslexia
-filipino-german, he can speak a bit of german
-5'7 but he tries to make himself taller (his combat boots make him look more 5'9)
-people call him "Cruz" at school in reference of Nikolas Cruz, i think you know why
-he's known for his military attire, his camo pants and his crude shirts, it's fair to say people bully him and are scared of him
-NOT !!!! A SCHOOL SHOOTER !!!! this is important just in case people think that, the only people that think he's a school shooter in universe are his bullies and his classmates
-that doesn't mean he doesn't joke about it multiple time tho, he knows a lot a bout it and it's part of his persona (to be the crazy guy at school)
-he's a communist, he has an interest in history and human tragedies
-he has anger issues, is a pretty jealous guy with a side of possessiveness and major insecurities, he deals with suicide ideation and self harm
-his parents are Dalisay and Bernhard, his mom is a dentist and his dad an ex military man, his mom doesn't understand what he's going through and is part of a support group for mom of troubled kid, his dad is pretty cold and doesn't talk to him much because he sees him as a failure, they're catholic and active in the church community, Marco is very not catholic lol
-he used to be really weird to girls in middle school and harassed his childhood friend Maria until she cut contact with him at the end of 8th grade
-he's on the reddit side of the internet and can go on some crazy disorganized rant that both makes him sound like an edgy redditor and a conspirationist
-he's weird as fuck, but he's nice deep down, but he's also a freak so don't expect too much of him okay, he's the kind of guy who keeps duct tapes and ropes in his room
-his username on social media is XxStr8yBull3txX, yeah his favorite band is KMFDM how did you know it's such a mystery
-in college he studies history before dropping out and becoming a streamer
TRISTAN LAMBERT
-born february 23rd 2007, he's autistic and has social anxiety
-french-american, he can fluently speak french
-6'4, always hunched over and has back problems
-he's a furry, is pretty active in fandom, reads fanfiction and love my little pony, he's a chronically online bitch for short
-he's quiet and shy most of the time but pretty sarcastic when around Marco
-he also likes the fact that they're kinda Veronica and JD from Heathers
-he's not a baby boy who did nothing wrong and is being manipulated by Marco, he's right where he wants to be and he LOVES marco ok, and marco loves him, and they're insufferable together
-his mom died when he was 10 and he had selective mutism as a result for most of middle school, he also used to watch a lot of gore as a coping mechanism, when the story starts he tried to get better on that point
-he had no friend prior to meeting Marco but had an history of quickly developping crushes on guys that's why when Marco started jokingly flirting with him he took it a bit too personal
-his ponysona is called Moonlight Shadow, it's also his username on some of hos socials alongside "LemonGaymon23"
-he's close to his dad (Michael) and actually trust him enough to tell him if there's alcohol involved when he goes out with Marco, which Marco think is insane
-don't ask about what type of fanfiction he reads, or what his twitter timeline looks like, just don't, he'll die (it's furry porn)
-in college he studies english literature
-he can play the guitar, if this was an animated show or something every songs would be a cover sang by him and i'm gonna die on this hill
JOSHUA ROBERTS
-born november 5th 2006
-5'11 but says he's 6ft
-yes Josh exists i just don't talk about him as much, he's actually the first character to appear in the story because he's the first pov character
-is part of the popular kids but NOT a jock, he sucks at sports
-he's two faced, tries to be a people pleaser and nice when he's around his "friends" but he doesn't like any of them and he's just kind of bitter and just mops around when he's alone or with Tyler
-he comes from a upper class family, they have a swimming pool and he can play the piano but doesn't do it as much anymore
-he has an older brother in college called Logan that cut them off, Logan was the golden child and an athlete
-he likes superheroes comics especially Batman but he enjoys marvel movies too
-he spends half the story in a situationship with a girl called Kelly just for her to dump his ass and then he loses his mind
-that's when Tyler starts becoming a nuisance in his life and he can't get rid of him, i mean he's not trying very hard anyway
-he's straight, he swears, also he's not a bully it's not his fault if people are weird and don't understand that you have to be normal in order to survive in the world !!!
-there's a "running gag" in the story where Marco continuously puts a gun to his head, it's not funny for Josh but it keeps happening !
-he obviously doesn't have a good relationship with any of the other characters lol Marco hates his guts and the feeling is mutual, Tristan thinks he's mean and Josh thinks Tristan is a weirdo for hanging out with Marco and Josh hates Tyler, well i guess Tyler is the only one who likes him
-he's the kind of guy to put his face and city on his profile, yeah dude that's a clever move for someone who ends up having a stalker
-he goes to a community college after a gap year
TYLER GIESLER
-born january 1st 2007, he's autistic and has OCD
-6'3
-he always talks with a monotone voice and the same tone with no expression
-he has stalker tendencies and actively stalks Josh, he's also knowledgeable in computer and hacked his way through his webcam
-he thinks he's being normal when he comes over at Josh's place uninvited, he doesn't see the problem with most things he does and has a hard time understanding boundaries
-he acts off and strange most of the time, people don't really like to talk to him being he's intimidating
-his OCD are mostly about fearing to harm others physically or being sexual
-he also builds pipebombs in his room and has a special interest in explosive
-he has two younger sister (Lucille and Miley) Lucille is autistic and non verbal
-he was born in Texas and his family moved out when he started high school, his best friend Carmen still lives there
-he was sexually abused as a kid by a friend of his dad, his mom also had him when she was 16 and his dad 31 so you know
-his room is in the garage of their house, no one really goes in there except him so that's why he's able to get away with most of what he's doing in there (you know, the fucking explosives)
-he was in special ed in elementary school
-he's an artist and has a drawing account, that's actually the first thing we know about him like he's just strange and the artsy kid who's actually a stalker
-he goes to juvie at the start of his senior year
-he studies psychology in college
Side Characters
Klara Klein, Marco's cousin who's one year younger than him, known as "the other Klein" or "the terrorist's cousin", she doesn't really like Marco because he's a dumbass who can't keep himself out of trouble and she suffers the consequences of his behaviors by being linked to him by classmates and teachers
Kip Mercado, a classmate of Klara, he's non binary and just vibing honesly, he's a scene kid, he's cringe but he's free
Carmen Diaz, Tyler's best friend who lives in Texas, they grew up together and were always very close and she visits him a few times, she's also interested in bombs and all that so you know why they're friends, they have very little to no boundaries with each others
Maria Venturi, Marco's childhood best friend and his crush in middle school, she's active in her church and a cheerleader in high school, she stopped being his friend because of his creepy behaviors when he talked to her
