any tips/suggestions for work outs (& motivating yourself to work out) when you’re pre-t and dysphoric as hell??
hi! i’m not sure i can recommend types of workouts but i can recommend tips for motivation! what helps me is finding ways to make it so i look forward to working out. maybe it’s the fun music i get to listen to, the fact i get to be outdoors, the fact that i can wear cute workout clothes and take selfies, the accomplishment, the good feelings after working out! another suggestion i have (as someone who’s struggled with body image + ed’s) is to workout because it feels good to move and not because you want to look a certain way. (speaking from my own experience) if you go into it with a goal that’s appearance based it’s a lot easier to get discouraged + to overwork yourself, but if you go into it with a goal of enjoyment + being kind to your body it’s a lot easier to workout in a healthy, fun way!
Sometimes I get little bouts of angry realization of how much fucking easier my life would have been if I was white
I'd be more approachable, not less weird.
