On More Original Content, Musings

So, this little blog has grown quite a bit since my last announcement about original content. And now I’m going to announce more.

Later today, I’ll post my first in a new (and likely somewhat frequent) series of “musings”. These will be posts that vary in length that talk about some of my less-developed theories, thoughts I’m having about various issues of interest, perhaps even some historical or political ramblings, etc. The first is actually on an interesting philosophical perspective on patriarchy theory and is likely going to be... long to say the least.

I’m also looking into possibly making an using a soundcloud account for 3-5 minute weekly mini-speeches on things that interest me, legal opinions, clarifying some common misconceptions I notice (ones that are not general enough to fall into my “how to argue” series) and just anything I want to talk about really. I’ll try and keep the themes consistent with the purpose of this blog, and I will only post a soundcloud if it relates to this blog or issues that this blog has covered.

I’m also likely going to be making more “grading the posts”, but being a bit more... concise with my critique. Those tend to drone on for far too long, and since the post I’m responding to is likely long already I’m going to try and be more brief. You can expect some of those going up tomorrow. I will modify the report-card if necessary.

I’m also considering (and heavily considering might I add) opening up asks on this blog. I can’t promise that I will respond to everyone’s messages immediately, but I feel like opening up more points of access to my opinions on issues isn’t the worst idea. And I can take the hate mail. I think. And who knows, I might even answer personal questions. Maybe. Potentially. We’ll see.
