Yes there are actually many Mizrahim from Arab backgrounds who are trying to break down the Jewish/Arab dichotomy bc of how it erases sites of convergences, Mizrahim speaking Arabic, identifying with Arab cultures etc, there’s a big push in Israel. And elswhere with significant Mizrahi populations for a resurgence in Mizrahim cultures and arts (via music and visual arts). The Jewish/Arab dichotomy is def harmful in that respect
