But yeah, logic dictates if the rituals performed at birth were undone by Jace's death so should his bond with Alec. But I guess the magical power of parabatais says otherwise? what even.

But speaking of Alec, I always wondered why he wasn't experimented on like Jace and Sebastian?

I mean, I'm a liberal arts major and, even I know that scientists are supposed to conduct numerous trials of an experiment. And Valentine was a scientist. so he should have experimented on as many kids as possible.

Given that Shadowhunter babies weren't in abundant supply, he should have taken advantage of all available infants for his unethical experiments. Alec and Sebastian were around the same age and the Lightwoods were faithful to the cause and accessible, so there's no reason why he shouldn't have. 

I like Alec as the only sane man, with the sense to practice caution. I like that he's not a super-special snowflake. Having said that, I still would like an explanation as to why Valentine didn't seize the mad scientist opportunity right there.

Demon blood is much easier to come by than angel blood anyways.
