i've had a lot of questions to myself while designing sara jd because. i dont know i think she deserves a little more thought put into her design. you know why? since the fandom decides that she accompanies the candy store boys.

and so i thought to myself. is the candy store boys an au where gender norms between boys and girls are swapped?? idk i havent watched the performance in a hot minute but they uh. the entire joke is that they’re boys performing a girls song and dance wearing skirts that are meant for girls

i dont know i could be interpreting this so wrong maybe im lacking context. but im like. okay . if they present themselves sorta kinda femininely (or gayly i . i dont know dont cancel me im sory) does that mean sara jd presents herself feminine or does her like. gender. does that get swapped too. like shes. jesus christ i cant describe this 😭😭 okay iuhh. like instead of woman jd wearing sexy women clothes shes presenting herself the same way cannon jd does. masculine. so ubhmm i have 2 au versions of sara jd.

sara jd that goes with the candy store boys cast/genderswap heathers/traffic light twinks/whatever you call it. she presents herself similarly to cannon jd. more modest, more masc, more discreet. the trenchcoat is really the only thing that sets them apart from a normal student clothing wise. scarf bc she deserves it. her disdain for how society sexualizes women kind of fuels this and her justification for deviating from the norm appearance-wise is that she thinks women need to stop being peer pressured by society to care about hair, makeup, clothes, etc constantly when all men have to care about it significantly less. oh boy i could project so much onto this mf concerning my dad. so uhmmm ya she moreso cares about comfort/modesty with her clothing and sometimes leans into masc styles. or would she mostly be androgynous idk guys i really need to research this more.

sara jd in an au where only jd is genderswapped. jd presents herself any fucking way she wants. fem. masc. andro. she believes that women should be able to Wear Whatever The Fuck They Want And Not Be Sexualized Or Treated Differently For It. this girl manages to conceal carry guns in clothes with fake pockets. her bra. she has a pocket she sowed in herself into all her clothing for carrying a pocket knife. she probably taught veronica how to defend herself if she ever needed it (not without promising veronica a million times that she'd always be there for her. that she'd never let anyone touch her.).

anyways the reason she arms herself to the teeth is because she wants to teach men who try to sexually harass her for serving too much cunt a (sometimes permanent) lesson.

shes extremely reckless too.

Helloooo! This isn't my first RP blog but I'm still bad at it so be nice to me. Call me Atlas, they/it/xem. Oh, and it/its for Roach. This is mostly for me to reply in real time to some SFAWTDE blogs!

Okay so. This blog comes from 🪳 anon from the Avery and Derek blogs (scroll down to the blogs) who was the "puzzle solver". Thats its main thing. HOWEVER I got greedy and made Roach into an OC.

Nymph, a (so far) undescribed critter living in Roach's body, created this blog to communicate with others. Roach uses it primarily. It woke up at a church and thats the start. It took a book from this church, and when it did so, it was touched by something slimy.

Ever since, Roach has occasionally thrown up orange acid. Nymph took over its body once, and Roach has been trying to learn what Nymph is. It broke into a church recently, and grabbed 2 things. A similar book to the first, and a piece of paper.

I think that about summarizes it! From now on, I'll be tagging lore-important posts with a tag you'll see below!
