trauma bonding is Hard. i used to make so many excuses for my father, but i dont wanna do that anymore. i moved forward from it! im done! he was always looking for a reason to hurt me or blame me for something, so i wont defend him. he hit me, whipped me, assaulted me. i wont go into detail but is it Any wonder i relied on god for help? bc None of the other adults in my life could save me. i made it through, though. and im stronger for it!! and im happier! things r good now :) -orel puppington <3

even though fathers day passed for me, i cant stop thinking about my dad. he was awful, like. actual human garbage, but i still honor him. i know there were so many reasons why he acted the way he did, though that doesnt excuse everything. clay, if you're reading this, i dont forgive you. but i hope youve been able to improve yourself - orel puppington, #🌸💜⚡
