The Working Poor

What does it take to "make it" in this world? A savings account? Real estate?... A 401k? Because I certainly haven't made it yet! I'm still struggling to pay my day to day bills and I feel like more money is coming out of my savings account than going into it. Side bar....how long can you classify yourself as an "aspiring" business owner? I've technically been in business for a full year and haven't booked a single job! The job market can't seriously be that bad. Luckily I held on to my 9-5. Is this the REAL business world? So to quote the great Forrest Gump, "life is like a box of chocolates", except I feel like someone ate all the good chocolate and I'm stuck with the weird fruit filled pieces....I mean, does anyone actually like those? Seriously, they should consider omitting them from the box!
