MMJ WL CARDS

THEY’RE BEAUTIFUL! YET SO DREARY

They feel so lonely and hopeless, like they’re stuck.

Considering the other world-links, I already knew the direction this was going but I’m still devastated.

Minori’s in particular really gets to me. She wanted to be an idol so bad but couldn’t cut it. She had so much to offer and so much potential with no where to put it. She looks desperate to perform, yet there’s no audience to entertain. AND THE OTHERS ARE JUST AS BAD!!! It seems Haruka is leaning towards to light in her card, leaving ASRUN in the past, but she’s still unhappy. She only has that stupid sofa to lean on for support DX

And Airi’s just straight up having a tea party alone. It looks like she’s lost in thought, staring at 3 empty chairs all by herself. She also looks regretful in a way. If I remember correctly, she had a fight with Shizuku during the main MMJ story, so maybe that never got resolved in the World-Link AU? I’m not sure what else to get from this card, but it’s making me depressed.

And of course, Shizuku’s laying on top of a dining table. I think it’s a play on the saying “a feast for the eyes” since during the MMJ main story she was mostly modeling, and others only knew about the perfect pretty Shizuku. Less of a human and more akin to a piece of art or something.

Anyways, I LOVE THESE CARDS!!!!!!! I love the colors, the composition, the angles, the outfits, the poses, the outfits, the aesthetic, the facial expressions, the lighting, the outfits, AND the outfits!

Definitely my favorite World-Link 2 cards by a long shot! They’re very ‘lonely in gorgeous’.

I don’t have a JP account so I’ll have to wait ‘til next year for them. But, I’ll definitely be pulling once they come out!

I JUST SAW THE PJSK MOVIE (thoughts with SPOILERS under the cut) (spelling will be bad im still high on hype and autism hyperfixation feelings)

THERE WWRE SO MANY REFERENCES TO OTHER VOCALOID SONGS AND IN GAME CARDS IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!! AND THE BIT WHERE THEY PERFORMED ALL THE KOVIE SONGS GENUINELY HAD ME ALMOST IN TEARS IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

At my showing everyone was really respectful so no one shouted or disturbed the movie which was really nice! Plus it really felt like a bunch of nerds (affectionate) gathering to admire Vocaloids and PJSK and the fandom we all love! >v<

Since todays IS the birthday of our queen Hatsune Miku, once the after credits had ended, a few people did shout out “Happy birthday Miku” which was really sweet! I was too nervous to shout with them though… ^^;

And I have a movie code! Yippee!!!

Also I loved Rui in it. He looked so cute and squishable /pos

I loved everyone actually! And despite being my least favourite group (by process of elimination alone), my favourite performance was probably VBS! I’ve liked Fire Dance, yeah, but seeing it on the big screen with them dancing and with the music being loud, not quite enough to be overwhelming negatively but close to it… that feeling is why I want to attend a Miku concert so badly!! >< My rant concludes here now. Thank you Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, KAITO, Saki Tenma, Ichika Hoshino, Honami Mochizuki, Shiho Hinomori, Minori Hanasato, Haruka Kiritani, Airi Momoi, Shizuku Hinomori, Kohane Azusawa, An Shiraishi, Toya Aoyagi, Akito Shinonome, Tsukasa Tenma, Emu Otori, Nene Kusanagi, Rui Kamishiro, Mafuyu Asahina, Kanade Yoisaki, Ena Shinonome, and Mizuki Akiyama, for giving me a reason to keep living again!
