First official race as a Starved Rock Runner member this morning. Spring Valley was the location of the 30th annual Walleye 5K. Got to see a lot of familiar faces, but had the privilege of making some new running friends. Looking forward to a great season of running with the club! Didn't walk away with any hardware, but I did stay at my training pace and beat that (training at 9min./mile and finished with an 8.5min/mile).. it was a little cold, but a lot of fun #STRroadrunner in Spring Valley #Walleye5K #StarvedRockRunners #SRRL #MoreRunnersMoreFunner
