                                ——- he’d heard the whimper ( and the sounds of choked breathing, like they can’t breathe ) from afar, and he tries to ignore it ( he’s got so much to do anyway although no, not really ) but apparently puck’s actually a nice guy ( what a surprise ! ) now tracking the sound to an alley behind some chinese restaurant to find that the source of it comes in a form of a kid. god, puck hopes this isn’t some kind of trap to have him killed.

Sniff?     Sniffsniffsniff.

Click of feet to the ground, talons touching on odd pavement. Her head bobbed down to touch nose to the weird surface and she gave a scratch with her claws. Whatever it was, it wasn’t like the grass she had just come off from. A  commotion brought up her head again, head tilted to the side.

   Small thing?

The small hatchling belonging to the scaleless prey, She’d watched it for some time now. The prey had  Watched her, or watched her paddock. She was a Lone alpha, where the other raptors had their pack, Their scent very close to her, she had none. She had Been known for her aggression, her willingness to  Kill her own kind. She was curious now. This prey hatchling made her curious, she had not Seen the prey allow their hatchlings near her Enclosure before. A set of clicks rattle off her vocal Cords, and she creeps forward, into the line of sight Of the prey. She knew the prey was out of reach. She’d learned that much. But she would still inspect it.
