So I am in class right now
and we were talking about statistics and discrete vs. continuous variables. Prof was giving examples of discrete variables, and he said the simplest discrete variable was gender because there are only two options, male and female. I really wanted to argue with him and say gender is actually a continuous variable because you could fall at any point between male and female thus meaning there are infinite possibilities which by definition makes it a continuous variable (like time). But I decided to keep my mouth shut and post this instead.
