yes absolutely. of course they'd still love each other, but they would be fundamentally changed by their need to protect her.

This is rather interesting, everyone answered the same way, the need to protect her. 

Let me ask this, why do they need to protect her? What if she was the middle child between Dean and Sam? or better yet what if she was the oldest? Would they still need to protect her?

or does simply have to do with the fact, she is a female? We all know, Dean and Sam have this white knight syndrome going, would they in fact, apply it to their sister?

I have watched it. In fact, my Sherlock blog is just filled with the posts. Don't get me wrong. I love the episodes, but something is missing. I know it's all going to tie into a very painful third episode.

yes, I agree! honestly, I have seen what happens when a show does fan service (*cough*sherlock*cough*) and the results are not exactly welcoming.

oh no, you didn't dash my hopes. That's exactly what I was figuring. In fact, I am very much relieved. I am not sure I would have liked the idea of lucifer being back.

My mental backstory for you (or, almost, the character that you play in my tumblr world is kinda how I'll refer to you) is that you've had a hard or sad past, but that's so not what you're about. To me, you're about perseverance and being strong in the face of darkness. Like a warrior lady who's got lots of love in her heart, but has to sometimes be reminded that she's as worthy as others are to receive that love from the people around her. I could be off though (: either way, that's it sugar.
