Not much could be heard besides the wind's soft whistling through the tree's dead branches. Deuce shuddered, from both the atmospheric chill and the eerie solitude. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt so alone, excluding the voluntary time she spent in her dorm room. Besides, this was a different kind of loneliness  Vacancy met the eye, but the flutist could not shake the obscure feeling that she wasn't alone. Halting the muffled sound of her footsteps, she clutched her instrument to her chest, swallowing her rising paranoia as she gave a timid call. "H-Hello? Is someone there?" For all she knew, her echo would be her only answer.

Joshua pointed at the dark haired girl.  "You." He walked closer so he didn't have to yell across the street, his finger still in its accusatory position.  "Where did you get that cloak?  I may need to burn down the store to prevent anyone else from roaming the streets with that." He still remembered well the twin of that cloak on a certain red-head, though he had already pushed the details of the meeting from his head.  He stopped as he got close and examined her again.  "Congratulations.  That horrible excuse for a leather coat actually looks good on you."

"You all playin' hooky?" Sora quips up with an enthusiastically chipper laugh; if three's company, five's gotta' be a total party! "I know you guys aren't from around here," he continues, gesturing around to the little suburban quirks of Twilight Town, "but I seriously doubt you came all together! Unless I'm imagining things. That works too." An airy, self-satisfied grin subsequently follows; apparently, any degradation of sanity warrants goldfish smiles and a sunny disposition.
