“Tell your mother I’m not feeling well and I won’t be able to make it to dinner tonight.“ If he had any sort of luck in this realm, Chloe’s mother would believe it.

❝ are they dead…? oh! not dead! not dead! ❞ (Eva for Roland cause I think they'd be cute together)
God of war (2018) starters; Accepting
His ears pounded, her yelling causing a pain to shot down the centre of his forehead. The last thing he could remember was being on the run, moving through the forest. The mantle of Robin Hood was now his, the Merry Men working by his side. Now that he was there, Roland found it hard to piece together what had happened.
Dark eyes focused on the blonde, struggling to stand as he moved from where he had been found passed out. It seemed as if they were alone, it seemed as if his companions had not found him. “Please, stop yelling...”
He checked the pouch at his side, propping himself up against a tree. “...And who are you?”
❝ did something change? the forest feels different now. ❞ (Morgan for Hope cause sister time!)
god of war (2018) starters; Accepting
It was different, it always was. It was never the same as it was five minutes ago, each moment that past brought forward something new. This was no different, Hope could feel it in the air. Magic buzzed with new life, with something yet unseen.
“It’s over there.” Was all she said before she moved in that direction, moving through the undergrowth of the forest.
❝ behind you, watch out! ❞ (Morgan for Hook)

Killian didn’t get a moment to register what was happening, he didn’t the time to see the danger which was flying in his direction. The sudden impact of his daughter pushing him out of the way caused fear to settle in the pirate, the man quick turning over as he looked back to his child.
“Morgan!”
❝ why do you even care? you could have just walked away. ❞ (S1 Anna to Emma cause my heart and the roughness of their first few days together)
god of war (2018) starters; Accepting
“...Believe it or not, kid, while I gave you away it wasn’t cause I didn’t care, I wanted the best life for all of you. This is exactly why I am not walking away, not while you all need me.”
She had been sought out for a reason, and something just wasn’t sitting right with her.
Also Regina wants one cause you know. Why not.
Jefferson hugged his little sister tight and kissed her cheek for what would be the last time he could guarantee. Not that he would tell her that; the fewer people that knew what he was doing, the better off everyone would be. But he would finally be free and he would never have to fear what would happen to his Alice again once they left this realm behind. They could live the life they wanted, together, wherever their hearts desired.
Very quietly, he spoke. “Love you.”
“All hail King Jefferson! Long live the King!” (-whistles innocently-)
Jefferson kept still as the people cried out around him. This wasn’t what he wanted; this had never been what he wanted. But his wife stood beside him; he could feel her hand grasping his the entire time. On his other side stood their daughter, retrieved from the Enchanted Forest and brought there to Wonderland under her grandmother’s orders.
He hated the cries of the people but if it meant his family was whole again, he would suffer the heaviness of the crown.
“All hail Queen Grace! Long live the Queen!” (OOPS)
Four words.
That’s all it took to make his heart feel like it had stopped beating, his limbs barely keeping him up similar to when he had been left there all of those years ago. The land had taken so much from him throughout the decades; it had taken his wife, years from being with Grace, his own mind and now it had claimed another piece that belonged to him. The piece he had tried so hard to protect and yet he had failed.
Just as he had failed her mother.
Whatever was left of the heart in his chest felt as if it was lying at his feet as he forced himself away from the crowd, unable to watch anymore or stomach the chorus of voices surrounding him. Perhaps he would come across the old tin man again once he left and he would see if he still longed for a heart.
As he stepped towards the looking glass, a sick thought twisted his stomach.
Of all that he had done and everything that fate had cursed him with, of course, it would be his daughter that would have made his mother proud.
