Here is one of the performance from this weekend's dancing with my bff & dancer extraordinaire @autiangel with her dance partner @official_ceraldo for the Human Abilities Festival at the Long Beach Aquarium. Auti was a backup dancer for many of the well knowns such as LL Cool J, Kid & Play and NWA until a devastating car accident paralyzed her from the waist down. She definitely did not let that stop her, in fact she would sneak out of the hospital to STILL party, dance and live her life like before. She pioneered wheelchair hip-hop dancing worldwide and continues to Be a Powerhouse. I met Auti the third day I arrived at the rehab facility when I was injured in my incident and it was an instant connection. I am proud to call this goddess Survivor one of my most beautiful and REAL best of friends. This past weekend, I rolled up on this stage and had the blessings of dancing with my best friend after being injured for 17 years.
