Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa
definitely kara. lena always teases her about it.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them.
also kara tho its one of the things that lena has started to pick up from kara. sometimes when she’s not paying attention she has to check that she hasn’t put a heart over the “i” in an important document.
Who starts the tickle fights
lena. she discovered accidentally that kara is very ticklish and now whenever she has the chance she’ll do a sneak attack and tickle her. lena claimed that she wasn’t ticklish but kara disproved that.
Who starts the pillow fights
both of them equally honestly.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile
definitely lena. she’s just more surprised by having someone like kara in her life and always loves watching kara fall asleep.
Who mistakes salt for sugar
definitely kara. kara already can’t cook that well, it’s not really too surprising that she’s done this.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning
lena. since kara doesn’t use the microwave it’s usually lena.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines
KARA. she does it all the time. lena pretends to be annoyed with it but kara knows that she secretly loves them.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order
lena. she was annoyed at not being able to find any of the books she wanted to read. kara is always messing it up because she doesn’t know why they need to be in alphabetical order.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies
definitely kara.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion
lena always does little things like this when she knows that kara has had a bit of a hard day. she knows that kara likes the little things.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen
kara. she does it usually if she’s sitting on the couch and lena is just doing work. kara tends to just zone out and suddenly realizes that she’s drawn a bunch on lena.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation
both of them honestly. they like having a little record of where they’ve been as a couple.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines
kara is always filling them out and getting lena to fill them out with her for fun. lena pretends to hate it but really loves doing it.

20. I’ll wait for you
Ten/Rose
The Doctor watched as Rose bit down on her quivering bottom lip, the Norwegian wind whipping her hair across her face. He could see the instant that her eyes steeled over with determination, the moment she made a decision about something.
(He tried not to think about the fact that this was the last time he’d get to see that change materialize on her face.)
Rose took a deep breath and looked him in the eye. “I’m not going to wait for you,” she said, tone leaving no room for doubt as to her sincerity.
(He really hadn’t thought that his heart could break any more than it already had but those words falling from her lips did the trick.)
“No?” He was rather proud that his voice didn’t waver on the single syllable.
“No. I’m done waiting. I’m gonna find a way to come home.” Her smile was small but genuine and the Doctor felt his lips curling upwards in response despite his inner turmoil.
“It’s impossible, Rose. I’ve tried.”
“I don’t care about impossible, Doctor. Impossible’s never been able to stop a Prentice or Tyler woman from getting to the man she loves. Look at mum!”
The Doctor felt like the oxygen had been sucked out of the room. “Rose...”
“Right, went out of order there.” She moved to push his shoulder before stopping when she remembered that she couldn’t touch him. She took another deep breath. “I love you and I’m going to come home to you as soon as I can manage it.”
He grinned at her. “I’ll wait for you, then. And I suppose if it’s my last chance to say it for now... Rose Tyler -” The words died on his tongue as her image faded from view. He’d run out of time, had forgotten to count the seconds and left important words unspoken.
But Rose had left him with hope and a smile and that was more than he’d had two minutes earlier. Now he just had to hold onto those and wait for her to do the impossible one more time.
