@morgandarcyarts just blew this out of the water and then some. This is @justiceforthedas and mine’s Brosca for the FixIt fic we are building (yes, it will take FOREVER to be done as I’m not-a-writer, but Maker, am having fun with the FixIt world-building; it’s doing that whole plot with characters thing...can’t I just do synop and random ass pieces of dialogue and maybe a scene snippet here and there?? Why I gotta do all complicated stuff? *whines*). I am legit SO BAD at trying to figure out how to commission - I threw so many words at @morgandarcyarts and said, here, here’s a wall of text and descriptions and you choose what you think works best from an artistic standpoint and THEY DID THIS.
But this IS Brosca, our WC, at the Keep (DAA timeline). That’s his ridiculous Mabari, Bronto. What? Brosca hadn’t seen anything quite as large on the surface as a Mabari, so he named him after what he did know! He’s a good doggo, Bronto is. And Bronto charging into battle is actually more terrifying than an actual charging bronto, if you ask Brosca. He’s a proud papa.
And those panels! Holy Maker, look at those panels!
I absolutely adore the muted greys/sepias with pops of color and this is...YES. The casteless and the crows. Brosca and Zevran - two misfits breaking the mold and a slow-burn as they have so much baggage between them both and it’s sooo... Maker, Zev is one of my favorite romances because he never pushes. He may tease and offer and flirt, but he’s so respectful, and Brosca just took his time figuring things out and Zev just was there with no pressure - all grace and relaxation and no pretension and happy and content with whatever role he may play when respected.
And those panels just pull it all together - casteless and crows pulled together by the wardens. All those perfect little details. I just keep staring at all the little details.
AND THERE’S POUNCE AND ANDERS BEING A LIL SHIT ABOUT TO WAKE UP BRONTO WHEN POUNCE GOES AFTER THE FEATHER (AND LOOK AT THAT CAT, THAT IS PERFECT CAT BEING PERFECT CAT) AND OMFGS THIS IS SO FUCKING PERFECT. AND YES, I’M CRYING STFU.

I wasn't planning this one, just trying brushes and different styles, but I ended up drawing her as usual.
(Fun fact: Brangwen Surana was my second run in DA:O back in 2009, after a classic Cousland run, and I loved her a lot, I even used her as oc in other lore/games. Now she's my One and only Warden, she's literally part of me, and my comfort zone while drawing 🥰)
