somehow i managed to partially romance sebastian and romance anders all the way and still get sebastian's parting romance (I think?) in the gallows. so. strange things are possible. o_O

I got confused on my last PT when I flirted w/ Seb for the 1st time, while romancing Isabela. @ the Gallows he said he wished he'd met me earlier. so I thought I got his romance, but apparently he has different lines if you only ever flirt w/ him

Well, his romantic arc in game has no proper resolution (regardless of if you think it's appropriate to have sex with him or not, there's still no clear cut relationship markers in game of any sort, imo) so it is really hard to tell if you've managed the romance or not.

Part of why I never managed to finish it.  It was annoying how not-done it was.  I do think they should have either not called it a romance, or developed it a bit better.  So yeah, I can totally see that weird things happen.  And the changes in dialogue are pretty subtle in a couple places, and then in others everyone's giving him crap for being celibate (even a Hawke who said yes to a chaste romance! with no way to avoid it, *argh*) so there are issues with the implementation in game, that's for damn sure.

maybe practice would help. perhaps then i SHOULD WRITE ALL OF THE SEBASTIAN, because practice. (or mountain lions. <3)

Everyone should write all of the Sebastian. Yes. Good. :D

(Though maybe not with mountain lions. Unless they took him in after his grandfather died, or something.  that's why he can sort of still be graceful in the ridiculous armor? he learned from cats. *snickers*)

I didn't shut down Anders when I rivalmanced Sebastian, but I never hit any of the "heart" conversation markers either...

Yeah, generally I think that's how it's supposed to work?  But ... we all know they're weird sometimes, especially in DA2.  (Or poor Leliana and Zevran in DAO. *sighs*)

Mmmm, I think I went straight to the Dalish after finishing redcliffe/mage tower stuff - so a little ways in, but still quite some way to go.

Ahhh, makes sense - that's actually around where I rerolled my Amell. No regrets here, though that was a complete character change. :)

Ughhh, that's a hard call. >_< I feel your pain, since I'm still grumbling about my Mahariel's face that I'm too far into the game to mod. :| At least your old Mahariel hasn't finished the game already! How far in is she?

good luck and godspeed. God, the whole of ME3 is just one long *gross sobbing* gif. Priority: Earth is no exception.

He's not as attached to it as i thought he'd be.  Moooostly because he's distanced himself since he misjudged the depth of the game back in ME1 and lost Ashley because he thought it was a case of "picking the squad member most capable of taking care of themselves" and not "hey, this is where we start pounding your heart into the ground." So he spent most of ME1 and 2 blaming Kaidan for it, *snerk*.   And now he's finally started taking Kaidan around in 3 and keeps going, "hey where did that shield come from?" every time Kaidan throws up another barrier to keep Dan'l Shep from being dead from grenade and/or marauder.

I usually do, but then I get annoyed because the cutscene will cut in, and then my party members will set them all off before I can disarm them. xP

Neda's actually a badass; she managed to disarm one before the cutscene started! And now we're managing to hold back the others so she can disarm. CLOSE CALL THOUGH; Leske is one fast mabari!

I wish they were in DA2; I'd consider swapping Deanna to them since she accidentally got the same hairstyle as Gail (oops).

That's true here in the States, as well, actually. And most agricultural land owners are what's referred to as "land poor" because all their money is tied up in their dirt.

That's pretty much what I've *been* doing. I've hung out at the Citadel so much, even Conrad's started going..."Uh, Commander? Isn't there a mission?"
