Fallen Leaves, Fireplace, Elm
Fallen Leaves: A scent that triggers a positive memory
There are a few scents, but one in particular is burning smudge sticks. I don’t know if it counts as a positive memory necessarily, but they’re used for grounding and cleansing, so that’s what I automatically associate the scent to.
Fireplace: One of your favorite stories, books, or poems
This is a really tough one to answer because I have several. I loved the Harry Potter series. How could I not? Those books were a huge part of my childhood.
As for my favorite poem...the one that comes to mind at this moment is “Scots Whae Hae” by good ol’ Robbie Burns. I even have a copy of it taped to my wall.
Elm: What your dreams are like
That really depends on the night. When they aren’t twisted versions of bad memories, I’m usually wandering around doing random things. Sometimes I end up flying, and that’s usually fun. But all the dreams I can remember are in color, which I’ve been told is somewhat significant because I guess most people dream in black and white?
