i like to think abt comparing ann walker's diaries (if we had them) to anne's like "recieved a letter from M- today, A- read it, but i swiftly convinced her she is merely an old friend. Ahaha yesss. It’s one of my favourite things to think about too. Anne ALWAYS reckons she is being so sneaky and I bet half the time everyone sees right through her.
I was reading through the entries about her stay in Langton Hall with the Norcliffes and when she’s getting with Miss Vallance behind Isabella Norcliffe’s back, Tib keeps on bursting into their bedrooms unannounced. Anne is always like “Luckily we were under the covers and I had just about stopped panting so Isabella is none the wiser!” and it’s just… why do you think she was bursting in there in the first place, Anne??

33: favorite one-shot you’ve written?
Co-authored, I’d have to agree with @raedmagdon that in the darkest night hour (your heart is glowing) is my fave. It was a balm for our shredded souls in the wake of 307, and it’s one of the things I’m most proud of writing in my life.
On my own, I’d have to say What You Needed. It was intensely personal and I poured a lot of my heart and soul into it.
34: a scene/paragraph you wrote that you’re proud of
The final scene in Young Gods was one of the things I’m most proud of having written, because it was the capstone of a pretty incredible experience. I’ll give you the last paragraph (and a box of tissues as well):
The accounts of those who were present at Lexa’s passing tell us that it happened in the spring, in her own bed, surrounded by those who loved her. As her son Aden tells it, she bade farewell to her children and grandchildren before turning to Klark kom Skaikru, for whom the flame of her love had never wavered. Her last act was to brush away the tears on Clarke’s face, and her final words were to her beloved mate:
“Don’t worry, Clarke. Death is not the end. We will meet again.”
And they did.
