Blog Entry: Recent Case
I am working on a case that just screams weird. It is right up my uncles alley but I am not ready to ask for help yet. Hopefully writing out all the details will give a different way of looking at the puzzle.
00:12am Dispatch got an anonymous call about three separate locations. Bomb threats is what the dispatcher was told.
00:42am I was the first to arrive at the Victoria Park location, and I was going to call it in as false information. Then I spotted the body. Face smashed in, hands and feet missing, and striped naked.
(Corner report shows that the teeth were all removed before the face was smashed.)
The other two locations produced two more bodies mutilated in the exact same way. No footprints, no fingerprints, and no tire tracks. We check with as many people as we could in the surrounding areas but no one reports anything suspicious happened.
It is now 04:08am and I am no closer to a lead, and I can't shake the feeling that there will be more, and soon.
