Ships aren't a monolith. Each individual in a ship has their own reasoning as to why they think their ship is going to happen in the next book. They also have varying degrees of certainty and willingness to consider the validity of an anti's ship. I, for one, am sick of the toxicity of the ship wars. I have nothing against Gwynriels and Eluciens as a whole, because I try to remember there is a person behind the content they create. If we met in real life and started discussing our love for the ACOTAR books, but disagreed on some points, I hardly think it would be this toxic heated debate. I think it would be a lively fun discussion with some good hearted jabs, but we would remain respectful. I also don't take it personally when I see content tagged as "anti" because the audience isn't the opposing ship and everyone needs a place to vent. I think Eluciens and Gwynriels are overall lovely people and have had a lot of positive interactions with them. I don't hold the bad behavior of a few content creators against them. My interactions have led me to become more of a multi-shipper. If anyone would ever like to discuss ships or anything ACOTAR, (there is a lot more to these books besides the ships), please understand that my blog is a safe space. I will not attack or be condescending to you. I really enjoy everyone's art and headcanons for characters in this book. I am particularly interested in queer perspectives of the characters as a queer person myself. Also, keep in mind if you are lurking on an opposing ship's anti tags, they are really not meant for you. People are venting their frustrations to like minded individuals. I will be honest. When I first got involved in the Elriel fandom, I engaged in some toxic behavior myself. I started following opposing ship's blogs to lurk and make fun of them. As time went by, I started to consider their perspectives and saw their content for other mutual fandoms that I loved as well. We don't have to be at each other's throats. For me, this fandom is a fun and welcome escape from the awful reality we live in.
Alejandro: Why did you lie, and make us think we were all going insane?
Chris: Because Mr Burromuerto, Wawanakwa is purgatory, and I'm the devil!
Duncan: What!
Morie:
I knew it! *gets slapped by Heather* :(
Heather: stop letting him make you realize stuff
PLEASE THAT IMAGEE
Can we get a book or masterlist on Morie?? Just to make everything easy to access??
Alright, so I'm going to give a basic, somewhat condensed rundown of everything that I've revealed about him so far
First of all, everything about Morie is in this restructured/condensed version of the timeline
JAWBREAKER LIVE AT THE BLACKBOX NOV. 16TH 2005
Just imagine Mor and Emerie adopting an Ilyrian child. It would be one of the cutest things. They being mothers of a baby and giving all possible love. And please Cassian as the godfather of the baby.
