It had been a long time since he saw that face or one like it. A face that sent rage coursing through him. He would wear that friendly smile, tilt his head and be polite in public but in private, oh, how he craved to wring that thin neck.. hear it snap. Eyes burrowing into the others body, even with such a sweet and innocent smile on his lips.

15. …because you missed them.
There were times when Yugi couldn’t handle being apart from the Spirit and it scared him.. because he was becoming so dependent on HIM. The last thing he wanted to be.. is annoying. These type of thoughts plagued his mind and gave him sickness that made him want to shut off his brain.. How many days has it been since they had last talked? Three? Four? Something like that.
It seemed to have taken some kind of exterior toll on the boy since his group of friends seemed to act questions and it wasn’t like his excuse was going to even make sense. ‘Oh, the spirit that rests within my puzzle is always gone and i miss him like crazy..’ No way! They’d laugh at him. Instead, Yugi forced himself to smile and just excused himself.
Another day past and finally the Spirit made himself know within his heart, his soul room.. Yugi looked to the door and saw him towering over the youth. He didn’t say anything and honestly, the boy didn’t want to hear his excuse. He didn’t care. He just wanted to know if he was there. Since they could only embrace each other within the chambers of the Millennium Puzzle, he sure as heck was going to take advantage of it.
Instantly, he grabbed both of his cheeks and pulled him down to his height and slammed their lips together. Yes, he was forceful, yes, he was going to regret it later but right now? No. Yugi didn’t care about anything. He just hoped that his feelings would reflect what he was currently; desire, desperation and loneliness. Atem was all that he had. His mouth moved in sync with the man, though, Yugi’s tongue traced those perfect lips and shyly nibbling the bottom one. Their bodies were pressed together and he hadn’t noticed that he had pushed the other against the wall until they actually hit it and the boy was practically straddling him..
But the boy pulled away, lips parted prettily for the Pharaoh.. panting softly.. eyelashes fluttered close as he clenched his hands at his side and refused to look at the other..
“Come on..”
“Don’t.. make me say it.. “ Yugi had missed him so much.

No one had entered the overrun city of Domino for months, it seemed. Which was a good thing. Haga didn't have to deal with wars or the pathetic excuses of frightened humans who dared to enter the domain.
Deep in the flora-covered city, in the towering castle made up of a strong, almost impenetrable tree, Haga watched a crowd of ants care and fuss over a dozen of new larvae. The royal would help if need be; after all, they were his babies, too. “What do you think?” the king mused to one of the ants next to him, its antennae waving in what seemed to be thought, as it watched the calm larvae in Haga’s arms, “A soldier, hm? Or perhaps a caretaker like you?” The large insect couldn’t answer, as the sound of rhythmic buzzing from cicadas made the crowd freeze in place. An alarm had sounded; something had entered the city. In an instant, the group of ants took the larvae in their mandibles, and carried them deeper into the maze-like hallways of the castle for safety. Haga rose to his feet, swearing under his breath, as though this intrusion was merely just a moment of annoyance. All around him, various insects marched together in groups; an army of beetles here, a swarm of bees there... they all swore to protect this kingdom and their leader.
