but the short version is that child of light is....!!!! a song that reminds me of the religious delusions i’ve experienced in my life which then reminds me of slightly different religious delusions i’ve sprinkled throughout a LOT of my writing projects, namely onto my main oc red...!!!! i’ve never quite found a song that like... perfectly encapulates a manic episode and the psychosis that comes with it??? that feeling of suddenly being found by god and having him live and breathe through you and feeling like you suddenly have a purpose and suddenly you’re meant to act out his will??? and there’s not even a shred of fear or doubt because it’s something you believe in with every inch of your HEART hrgh i have such a relationship with this song cuz so much of my actual religious faith is nonexistent and the only thing that reminds is stuff i’ve, like.... hallucinated about... LOL
