Yuuki was TRYING-- both to get better at avoiding his bullies and at HIDING anything that happened from the encounters. But, still, he found himself UNLUCKY on some days. He knew that Yaku wasn’t disappointed in him-- he was simply disappointed in himself for not being STRONG ENOUGH.
The room had been mostly QUIET, save for the noises as Yaku moves around the room and rummages through the first aid kit. And he found himself wrapped in his thoughts as Yaku helped him clean up, and bandages the new cuts he’s earned today. But he’s still surprised at the words, glancing up at the older from his spot on the floor. Eyes widen before he looks away, folding his hands in his lap to TIGHTLY TWIST his fingers together, worrying at his bottom lip with his teeth. He could cry-- he’s certainly done it more than enough after encounters like these. But he shakes his head, even as one hand wipes ( roughly ) at his eyes, fighting back the tears that threaten to FALL even as he speaks.
