4. a song that reminds you of your favorite season

“Fire Above, Ice Below” by Agalloch. 

It’s a very atmospheric song that just makes you feel winter’s chill. It also becomes truly magical if you listen to it when walking through the snow while the sky above starts turning pink (can recommend!).

“Mercy Street” by Fever Ray

Although I adore the softer Peter Gabriel original, this version just has that sweet sweet experimental pop sound I just can’t resist.

“Life” by Des'ree

I was raised on Kate Bush and Jethro Tull and while many of their songs qualify, this was in fact my first ever favourite song. I had it on cassette and 4 year old me would torment my parents by playing it on repeat for hours. Literally.

This was my mantra throughout 7th (?) grade. The title translates to “Let ‘em talk” and it’s about gossip and the people behind it. I’m not too happy with this translation but it gets the point across:

4. Longest consecutive hours you’ve played a game?

hard to pinpoint. In college I had friends, but not many. So on the weekends I was typically alone and I played games for the entire day. Maybe little lunch breaks here and there, but typically I could play for hours at a time. If I’m really into a game (Like Red Dead right now, lol.) I can play for hours.

9. Last game you played?

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!!!!

42. A game you will never forget (in a bad OR good way)?

Many. the first kingdom hearts really knocked my socks off when I was young and playing it, because up until that point I didn;t think games could have engaging stories like that one. The Last of Us. definitely the last of us. Silent Hill 2.

1. a song from the year you were born

My favorite Cure album came out the year I was born, 1983 (yes I am old and my birthday is Sunday so I’m olding rapidly).   This is my favorite song from it, “Just One Kiss.”

11.   something you’d give ANYTHING to hear performed live

I will forever be heartbroken that I never got to see Bowie live.  The first album I ever bought was Bowie live in Santa Monica 1972, and I’ve always loved “Life on Mars?”

Oh lordy I forgot to answer this, I am so sorry!!

14. What is your current desktop picture? 

At the moment it’s a photo I took just outside Death Valley National Monument, at the spot where ‘the’ Joshua Tree from the U2 album cover used to stand. I was so happy and excited to find it after having dreamed about going on a ‘pilgrimage’ to find it years and years ago.

16. The last song you listened to?

I...honestly can’t remember? I guess it will have been something from Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, technically, since they have musical numbers on there.

23. What is one unique thing you’re afraid of? 

Do giant squid count? I’m not sure how unique it is, but they completely give me the heebie-jeebies. There’s an animatronic model and a preserved one in the aquarium in Plymouth (or used to be, anyway, not been in years) and I just have to close my eyes, cling on to someone’s arm, and NOPE through there, because, NOOOOPE.

28. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into place? 

Animal Crossing!  I guess I’d be really obvious and make some kind of ‘be kind to each other, no harming/killing/etc each other’ rule? It would be nice to go for something more...philosophical? Interesting? Aesthetic? But I guess I don’t have enough faith in people. :S

Looks like you are talking bout our french president macron ^^. Last week, he said "live people!! look at me!! I go to the theatre!!" the week before: "you'll just have to sneeze inside your elbow, it's just nothing"... and the week before "c'mon people, covid-19 will never cross our borders"..

Hahaha, ironically, I have seen several British people go on about how ‘If only we had a strong leader, like France! Macron is taking decisive action!’ :P We can’t win for losing, it seems.

Sometimes, I have very weird ideas in my mind. Like: Imagine that Jesus Christ has not died on a cross, but was drowned. Does every (practising) catholique would wear a fishtank around their neck? (I know, it’s stupid, but hey, when iy’s 4 A.M. and you can’t sleep, your mind wander in crazy places ^^)
