I’m Jaylin, first cousin seven times removed to dear ‘Brother’ Joseph Smith. My family is heavily involved in the Mormon church. I’ve been an exmormon since I was fifteen ish. My main breaking point, aside from being a queer teen struggling with the idea of having a family with a man, was looking at the afterlife, the promise that family could be together forever, but only if everyone was righteous and ended up in the same tier of heaven. I always wondered about family that didn’t make it to the celestial kingdom, What then? How is that an eternal family if you can be separated still?
I urge any Mormons to not only unfollow and block me if they decide to remain faithful, but also to look in to the corrupt leaders of the church, to the horrible things they’ve done, and into how corrupt and horrid my cousin Jospeh was. He was a fraud, a liar, a fake, and a thief. If anyone wants proof or recourses I can provide them. I can also explain more about this.
