-Eeeeeek, you are such a great friend, thank you! :D Did you get my reply to your message btw? x
Heyy, I was tagged by notbroadwaybound and mormonontheroof to do the Nice Thoughts Challenge! The idea is that you write down 5 nice things about yourself, so ... here they are!
I thought for years that I was terrible at every dance style, but then I found tap, and I guess I'm actually pretty good at tap! (Plus tap is just awesome!)
I have a really big nail varnish collection, which I love! And I also have long but strong nails, which is a plus.
I endured braces for 2 1/2 years, so now my teeth are straight. Yay!!
I'm polite to people. Manners are really important to me!
Me and my sister and really close friends. This is more of a thing about my life that makes me happy, but I'm going to count it! :D <3
Thank you guys for tagging me! I think this is a really nice challenge and it spreads positive thoughts which is great! I'm going to privately inbox who I'm tagging, because a) that's a good idea and I recieved one tag that way, and b)when I'm on the text editor thing tumblr works really slowly and the way names show up when tagging makes it even slower! :) But also, if anyone else wants to do this, they totally can! :D x
I've been tagged by mormonontheroof (who is lovely and amazing and I NEED TO MESSAGE because it's been so long (well not really but still!) and We Need To Talk About Kevin :D) to list 15 sources of joy in my life! This is amazing!
My friends! OMG my friends are so amazing! I'm looking at you Lydia, Jess, Jenny, Emily and various other non tumblr friends! They are just the best friends I've ever had and I know that next year despite being at different ends of the country from one another we will stay IN TOUCH!!!
Ok, my drama class from last year! They were brilliant! I love all of the members of that groups because we were all equal, no matter our 'popularity', personality or anything else, we all had such a great time and did some amazing work! (And they ignored my spontaneous tap and lyrical (most of the time))
Green tea! Any tea! But green tea is just...
The Book of Mormon (musical, not the religion itself!) Bobby Lopez is brilliant and that whole show is just insane. All of the characters are amazing! The casts are beautiful and insanely talented... I beam whenever anything reminds me of it! Don't we all need something like that in our lives?
Making plans. Although I think I give the impression of passiveness, I love to plan, list, to DO THINGS. Trips into town, to a cafe, to the cinema or theatre, even just meeting a friend to watch a film at my house. I love to be DOING THINGS!
Horses are beautiful, friendly, graceful. Watch some showjumping. Seriously!
That I can dream. I have goals. I feel like I am conscious and can make decisions for myself. I like having the ability and the drive to dream!
The fly in defying gravity. I don't need to say anymore.
Disney films! Mulan, Tangled and The Little Mermaid being the top three! They make me feel young, the music was great, oh, and Mulan was baby Charlotte's feminist icon. I think that's why we Disney films so much! They remind us of fun and happiness!
The fact that I have met Willemijn Verkaik and Gavin Creel, two of my three theatre inspirations. You are told it's not good to meet your idols, but I have to disagree. They were both amazingly talented, beautiful, kind, gracious, patient performers and people in general and it was just insane! One day I hope to meet my top three, so I'm coming for you next Jonathan Groff!!
Traveling! I used to live on a boat and travel all the time and I think I got the travel bug. Even though we don't have aa boat anymore, I've still visited some amazing places! Mexico city, Iceland, Corfu, France, Italy etc. I feel so lucky, they were beautiful, exciting, amazing places and I'm thankful that I've had the opportunity to visit them.
All the drawings and sketches my sister does for me! ily Emily <3
My two non tumblr friends who I always see Marvel films and eat nandos with! I love them!
My family.
The fact that I can think of so many sources of joy that it's stressing me out that I can't extend this list! I'm happy right now!
Thank you for tagging me in this post! It's nice to express what makes you happy! It really cheered me up just to think about them! <3
I tag roryomalleythealleycat, idefytheestars, the-oh-holy-jessiah and much-ado-about-fandoms!
Book of Mormon – The Prince of Wales Theatre, London – Wednesday 18th June 2014
(More than just "I've got maggots in my scrotum", Book of Mormon had me at ‘hello’)
Okay, so where do I begin? Book of Mormon has been on my radar ever since the famed Tony Award performance that had everyone singing ‘HELLO…MY NAME IS ELDER PRICE!!!’ for well over half a year at every opportunity! Since then my love for this show has been steadily growing until BAM (!) it opened in the West End last year… With the HIGHEST ticket prices I had ever seen! Still, I was determined to see it! Yet my lack of money and the fuss it takes to get down to London kind of put me off, so I stayed content with my CD until one fateful day my sister said that infamous phrase “I’ll buy you Book of Mormon tickets for Christmas if you want.” … .. . ARGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! (Thanks Emily! ily)
(For the whole review, see under the cut...it's pretty long, but...what can I say? The show made quite an impression on me!)
WARNING>>>Contains a tiny bit of language and spoiler-age!!!
I think my askbox is eating messages again! If this is the case, just know this Mormonontheroof, Kevin Duda's wet shirt picture is life, Sutton Foster is just amazing, and Daniel Radcliff always surprises me! :D
Paige Brady was Matilda and she was SO PERFECT
mormonontheroof replied to your post: I’M GLAD NO ONE LIVES IN MY HEAD.
i hope it was ok to reblog this. it’s just..I SO RELATE
It's okay with me!
