trained instincts scream  DANGER,  a voice in his head dripping with menace.  he had fought too many battles,   in enemy territories carved in terrains of  HELL  with swarms of  reptilian monsters  lurking in every crevice of darkness.    a breeze too strong,   a ray of sun too hot,   even a meager distortion in his  VISION   ;     ignorance  leads to a quick death.   PITY,  for the son of mars to die in an  AMBUSH.    a kind of shame he will never accept.  && so  he is  wary,   eyes narrowed,   senses  alert,   muscles TENSE  with every step,  poised to grab the  gladius  tucked beneath layers of clothing.   his strength is no mystery for the  blood  of his father exudes him   (  children of the war god rise above everyone's ashes  )   &&  garrett knows that should he fight,   it will be for them BOTH.        ❛   how do you do this ?    we're out in the  open,   walking to some cafe,   prone to all kinds of monsters and you seem like you're not bothered at all.  ❜
