I can't draw, but the mental image of Reverence (Carrion) wrapped up in a blanket with only his horns visible came to me and I knew I needed to try. It turned out a bit different than I was going for bc I was following a reference picture, but I still think it's cute.
I love spending an hour on a project in photoshop for the bit.
In this case, making a Metazooa-style card for my cat.
For context, his name is Loki and he absolutely lives up to that name by causing chaos and generally being annoying. So at some point my dad and sister started calling him "the Lokust" (because, yk, he's a pest), and then the Metazooa animal from yesterday was an actual locust, and my sister suggested I photoshop Loki's picture in, and I was like "I can do you one better" and then I blinked and an hour had passed, and I'd made this.
Additional fun context: the scientific name "Felis molestus" translates to "annoying cat" and "Felis volumen" translates to "roll(y) cat" because Charlie loves belly rubs. But "volumen" also makes people think of large/round, which is doubly fitting because he's a little chubby.

[ID: A pale green rectangle on a pale yellow background. Inside the rectangle is some text.
A heading in large font reads: "Domestic Lokust" To the side, in smaller text it reads "(Felis molestus)". Below both is the following text:
"The domestic Lokust (also known as the domestic Loki or simply Loks) is a rare species of domesticated felid. It is found only in a single home in Michigan. The Loks is known for its annoying habits, such as licking plastic or demanding pets in the middle of the night. It has also been known to act as a pest species for the closely related Domestic Char (Felis volumen). However, its skill as a lap cat and its adorable facial expressions have helped it avoid extinction."
Beneath the text is a picture of a black cat. He's crouched on a bookshelf with his head tilted sideways. His green eyes are wide open and he looks vaguely confused or surprised.
Just like with their dragonborn form, I'm committed to not using any AI or stolen art for Kiran, so I did another fun photoshop experiment to make a token for its Thri-Kreen form.
Unfortunately I lost the links to the original sources of these photos, but if I track them down later and remember, I'll add the links here. Part of the problem is that I forgot what species of beetle I was using as a reference.
