appearance : taller than Eiryn but not a giant, fair skin, shoulder-long brown hair, amber eyes (actually he's exactly like the boy in the pictures, whose name I didn't find, I only found his name on Deviantart was Kirakawa)
family : both his parents are farmers and live in Dalir, he still writes to them and sends them some of his money. He had a little sister, years before, but she didn't pull through the harshest nights of the year and died when she was five.
past : he grew up in Dalir, next door to Eiryn, and since they were the same age they got along really well and became friends. They used to wander off in the forest, with Eiryn's parents and their group at first, and then just the two of them when they were old enough. They explored ruins and meadows and frozen lakes and rivers. They were also trained to the basics of combat by the Elder of the village, and he quickly got extra lessons since he was really good. But during his last outing with Eiryn, he finds the Shard and, for the first time, he keeps it hidden from her. Little did he know what that object would bring into his life...
personality: about as quiet and shy as Eiryn, which made them the perfect partners in crime when they were younger ; he tends to enjoy his own company more than being surrounded with people, but won't say no if his friends among the guards invite him to the tavern or for a training session. He's also extremely loyal and has a very strict sense of duty ever since he was young – Eiryn always had to drag him out by his ear whenever she wanted to do something somewhat forbidden, even though he always gave in to make her happy. He may be very awkward around adults and people his age, but turns out to be very good with children, a skill he developed after his little sister was born but that he had to abandon after her premature death. He is very happy to see children again when he gets to Eyjara, and to help Morrigard raise little Till.
appearance : half a head taller than Nevrel, very long black hair, pale green eyes ; he was trained to combat and horse riding since he was very young, and thus built up a nice amount of muscles. Somehow, he always has at least half a smile on his face.
family : only son of ruling Queen Verivia, his mother never told him much about his father (just that he was a nobleman she was forced to marry, and that he died of sickness around a year after Morrigard was born ; for all he knows, she could have killed him).
past : born and bred to be prince and then king, he quickly grew closer to his fighting and riding instructors and companions than to his mother and her councillors. He traveled around most of the White Kingdom on his own initiative, heading with troupes of soldiers – in which Nevrel had enlisted – to the western county of Scarred Plains to end some internal conflicts ; when he passed with his men through a city that had been attacked, he found a little boy named Till that had lost his parents in the attack, and so he took him back with him and Nevrel as his pupil to take care of him.
personality : Morrigard is quite different from Nevrel, if not the complete opposite : is always surrounded by a little gathering, be they his friends or court people, and he doesn't seem to mind at all. He seems to always be smiling and laughing, full of energy and dedication. His attitude only grows colder when in presence of his mother, Queen Verivia, who seems to always have something to disapprove of in his attitude. With Till, he's very sweet and acts like the big brother he always wished he had been ; and, every day at dawn, he can be seen riding out of the city on his stallion and head for the snow-covered moors, beaches and forests that surround the city, for there is nothing he enjoys more – except maybe Nevrel's company.
There! All done. Hopefully these five introductions (counting those of Eiryn, Ifris and Stellar) will motivate me to write more for these two linked WIPs that have been sitting untouched for quite a while. I hope you liked these! :)
