Wed Me: Scully's thoughts on marriage.

To say that she had not dreamed of a big white wedding would be a lie. Dana Scully had, as any other girl would, but just as the like, she grew up. She grew up to realize that happily ever afters were subjective, that prince charming was a dime a dozen, and that fairy tale endings were just prologues to life itself.

She didn't care much for a huge wedding anymore. She she didn't care about what her family views were anymore in the matter. She wouldn't mind a small gathering with her closest loves ones, as well as having no ceremony at all. Her version of prince charming worked in the FBI basement and he was nowhere near perfect by fairly tales standards...but he was her perfect fit.

Ceremony or no, Scully and Mulder's lives were bound to each other, and that's what mattered to them both.

Does it count if I count The X-Files series and both movies as three separate things? Of course not, that would still only be three things.

Truth is, I've only ever seen her in the X-Files but I've been meaning to see her in more stuff. Anything good you'd like to recommend?
