another reason i find myself drawn to conclave is that it's a good reminder of who i am and who i'm not. in the sense that like many many people i have difficulty reconciling catholicism and queerness as things that can coexist and thrive together, and while i've learned to let go of thinking too hard about all that over the years i do kind of believe that for most people, you do have to make a choice between the two. not everyone, and i hope it won't be this way forever, but very often it is one or the other. and i'm glad of the choice i made, to be happy with myself rather than pursue a calling that would ultimately require a sacrifice greater than i think is fair for a god i would want to believe in to request.

all this to say, in a sort of faux-optimist, ominous-positivity kinda way: i am not a 76 year old deeply closeted catholic desperately pining over someone i will never allow myself to have. there is still time for me, and i made the choice that was right for myself.

¤ I don't dress or style myself according to any sort of stereotypical gender norms, and I've also struggled to understand what gender feels like. I have a desire to come across as neutral physically, and I enjoy being incredibly vague when people ask about my gender. Skill issue.

☻ Sexuality: Cupio/aromantic asexual, polyamorous

¤ I've never really experienced any sort of romantic or sexual attraction, and I'm very incredibly repulsed by anything sexual. I get uncomfortable seeing any sort of nudity (mild or not) or anything that could be perceived sexually. I am, however, interested in being in a relationship, and since I personally do better in groups I enjoy being in a polyamorous relationship. However, I may not be a very affectionate person and am not the chattiest, and I don't really like to be DMed.

¤ Otherwise, though, I am very open to friendships! I generally consider anybody who I interact with frequently, especially people within a fandom/if we have shared interests/if we're mutuals to be a friend of mine. I am comfortable being friends with anyone of any age but believe I get along best with other teenagers.
