I've been taking a little time out of my day for the past couple of weeks to play Morroblivion and honestly it's weird. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying myself but... I cannot in good conscience say that Oblivion's character models are really that much better than Morrowinds and as soon as I find a mod that works I'm gonna fix those creepy potato faces.
Look what they did to my boy Jiub. Despite being more three dimensional it's not actually what I'd call better.
Idk, despite being higher in quality Oblivion's models and textures always felt like they lacked personality and it's easier to notice all of the little splits and seams when they move. They're so rubbery looking. This is by no means a failing on the part of the modders, this was a big effort and the modding team did a wonderful job porting Morrowind into Oblivion's engine, but Oblivion's horror beasts have always hit my uncanny valley really hard and I hate looking at them.
