zach was born the youngest of three, his siblings being elijah and nadia who he always admired and adored. as the youngest, he was the most spoiled by both the grandmother that raised him and in large part by nadia.
his older brother elijah was killed in the war tho rip and zach is still very Bitter about it because he himself is very ??? indifferent in general. bc he is very very self-centered and is all about having a GOOD TIME and no one ruining his good vibes and too often the war does that and it’s all very Bothersome
as a result, zach is considered neutral but death eater aligning since it serves him to be on the easier side that has given him privileges in life that he doesn’t want to give up? he doesn’t have upstanding morals and only cares about the few people in his life that he has let be close and through it all, he’s always on their side ultimately
zach was in ravenclaw during his time at hogwarts and happily soared high as an eagle and is very proud of his house. he was sorted there because he has a rather sharp mind? he doesn’t make much use of it but he isn’t unintelligent. he’s just incredibly lazy and has no ambition when he can just slide his way through life. BUT he is creative especially with his musical mixing and his eye for aesthetic
he enjoys music and fashion above all. he’s a dj/socialite and will not hesitate to let someone know when they have poor tastes. he would be the ideal shopping partner because he has a good eye for fashion, including fashion, and for him what makes a good outfit all come together is a good pair of shoes. he owns 100s of pairs of shoes alone.
overall he just..can’t be bothered to care about much lmao even if he does have a flair for the Dramatic that he claims not to have. he’s very superficial and celebrates the strong ladies in his life while crushing those that he views as weak with his well-shined shoes. he’s self-defined and very determined to remain that way. best way to describe him really is kanye attitude with drake feelings.

leda avana is a halfblood born on march 12 2003. because of her status as halfblood and her family’s seemingly neutral stance (and their luck at remaining somewhat inconspicuous and nonthreatening), leda was able to attend hogwarts under the guise of being at least somewhat deferrent to voldemort’s regime and was sorted into hufflepuff.
anyWAY hogwarts was pretty chill and leda was basically able to survive hogwarts, it wasn’t great as you can imagine but for what their family does it’s pretty important for them to seem like sort of okay w/ the status quo?
anyway leda’s older brother isaac helps the order basically he runs a flower shop that also doubles as a way to send messages to and from order members and other anti-voldemort agents (it’s actually very cool like different flowers will mean different things etc rian is a creative genius) but this only works under the guise of like, the avanas being a very mild-mannered harmless family.
anyway leda is a beautician working in hogsmeade at a high-end salon, it’s a really great way for her to eavesdrop and gather intel for the order since lmao ??? people tend not to pay attention to her while she’s doing their hair and such.
she’s not really active as a fighter in the order but will pitch in if need be, though she isn’t a fan of the thought of physical violence though she knows it is necessary w/ the way voldemort and the death eaters operate.
leda comes off as pretty shallow and superficial but it’s kind of a front (even tho like, she is a bit superficial and vain lbr) because it makes people more likely to underestimate her. her personality is pretty mellow but occasionally bubbly which also makes it easy for people to write her off but she’s actually very perceptive and intuitive?

valeria carrow was born on april 18th 2003 to parents unknown. YOU SEE, her parents (distant cousins w/ artemis) had been trying for a while to have a child and were finally pregnant, but the child was stillborn. rather than continue trying, though, they took newborn valeria from her parents (and likely killed them as well----but she doesn’t like to think about that)
basically though no one outside of the immediate family knows this? they initially needed an heir of sorts to help continue the family legacy, and while valeria has turned out to be a disappointment to them in a lot of ways, they all still guard this secret and keep it close to their chests simply bc of the trouble they’d be in for passing off a halfblood or muggleborn as their pureblood daughter???
anyway valeria had no idea about any of this until about her 6th year when, after quite a bit of time not living up to what her parents thought she would be she was told----and from time to time when she messes up they still like to rub the fact that she’s not their real daughter in her face like “you were lucky we picked you” etc etc
val tbh doesn’t know how to feel about it? her parents (along w/ the dark lord) are pretty much the only people she’s scared of but she thinks its true she wouldn’t have some of the things she does have ($$$, her life tbh) if it weren’t for them so even though she hates them she’s weirdly grateful and also feels stuck with them anyway.

HOWEVER the biggest and most recent disappointment has been them catching on to her relationship w/ alex ollivander which has been going on secretly for some time----so now val’s being threatened w/ his safety in order to sort of guide her into behaving in a way they deem more appropriate and essentially being much more committed to their cause than she previously was and he is too and she feels pretty terrible all around bc lmao one of ???? the only good things in her life has been fucked w/ by her parents and the dark lord and she hates it but she’s too scared to do anything???
but okay personality wise val is just ???? WILD AF there is no other phrase for it like she’ll stomp someone down if she feels insulted or threatened or anything really. she’s really possessive, gets jealous and can be goaded pretty easily, and while she’s very sharp with her words she isn’t really as clever as she’d like to think (tbh think cersei lannister minus the incest bless) she’s good with a wand in a power sense but really lacks delicacy and finesse in her spellwork (and irl lets be real) BUT if you’re her pal she’s always down to have a good time like going out and just going wild is her idea of an A+ time but if you ARE close to her dont expect her to admit it bc she is terrible at vocalizing feelings in any way pretty much?? she sees that as showing a vulnerability that people can exploit and w/ the way she grew up she’s not wrong lmao BUT SHE ALSO craves people validating her spot int heir life so even tho she hates admitting when she’s fond of someone she always wants them to tell her?

persephone is The Worst i’m so sorry but let’s just dive into it
so an important thing to note is that her parents don’t actually hold any true loyalty to any side but are just looking out for their own skin which !!! makes this a really interesting verse for persephone honestly. in like ‘normal’ verses after the order wins the war they openly claimed that they were loyal to them all along but couldn’t help out because the danger they were in as purebloods closer to the blood supremacist crowd ( in reality they’re like..... not even remotely Relevant but sure jan ), but in this verse since the death eaters won it’s the opposite. so after the fact and the battle of hogwarts was lost they spewed some bs lie and swore loyalty to the death eaters basically, but still tried to remain in the background bc they don’t want to bring too much attention to themselves ???
essentially her parents just want to be on the winning team without actually doing anything to contribute to the cause or put themselves in danger
they were not even Remotely interested in having kids, persephone was a complete accident and they were planning on getting an abortion but word got out and they felt they had an image to uphold ( even tho they honestly didn’t????? ) so they decided to go through with the pregnancy so not to cause a ~scandal ( in their eyes ) and then somehow ??? deal with it ??? later ???
basically very very soon after she was born they hired a nanny so they wouldn’t have to deal with her at home themselves but just in public
a big thing for her parents is that they want to be relevant and hold an important place in society and be rich & live a lavish life, and though they’re purebloods they’re not from the sacred 28, they’re not very rich and with the jobs they hold they weren’t really gonna ever reach the place they wanted ??? but they realized very quickly that persephone was beautiful, and you can make money off of beautiful, and so she became a bit less of a burden for them
her modelling career was a bit slow at first but then it truly kicked off and it’s one that many would desire. and it’s made up such a huge part of her life bc it was one of the only things her parents thought she was good for so even tho she went to hogwarts ( sorted into ravenclaw ), she spent more time out of school doing photoshoots and the like, and it basically took priority to everything else in her life.
tho her parents treated her pretty horribly at home, every time they were out they would brag about her to everyone because of her career ( though if you listened closely, the praise had more to do with the daughter they raised, than persephone herself ), and showed her lots of love that was such a stark difference from their actions at home, which really confused her when she was younger but she figured she had to be doing something right you know and just continued
very much raised to be seen and not heard, be extremely obedient and polite and kind, that her body/ life isn’t really her own & she doesn’t have a say in what happens to it. a lot of the modelling gigs she did were totally fine and many were even quite fun because of the creativity involved, but then some just made her extremely uncomfortable and sexualised her at too young of an age. when she was younger she tried to bring it up to her parents for help, but the rage she was met with caused her to just remain silent from then on & follow their wishes
okay so if we jump back a bit in time to when she was younger, her parents began to realize that the war wasn’t really going to end any time soon, which honestly just terrified them. and tho after the battle of hogwarts they decided to openly side with the death eaters bc they won, they never shared their beliefs and most of their actions afterwards downright disgusted and terrified them. they had just underestimated what would follow the death eaters winning that battle. and tbh they also thought they were a lot more important than they actually were, so they were afraid the death eaters would find out that they weren’t actually loyal at all to them and were just there to protect themselves. and they were terrified they would be punished or killed bc of it, even if they hadn’t even taken the mark and were just supporters. so they tried to come up with a way to contribute to the war & the cause without again actually doing anything themselves/ putting themselves in harm’s way, and the solution was persephone
so yeah although her parents don’t actually share the blood supremacist views, they made sure that she was raised with them and those beliefs are so deeply ingrained with her now she will probably never believe anything different. plus all the reading she did at hogwarts mostly from the restricted section really contributed to deepening and upholding them. and tho her parents were like !!! yikes !!! at the thought of having slaves they kind of had the nanny and persephone mostly interact with them so they would feel a bit less guilty, and when persephone got older she was kind of taught to practice various dark spells on them so she could be as good death eater as possible when the time came
which honestly just made her extremely confused and angry and conflicted with herself because on the one hand she was meant to be polite and quiet and obedient, and on the other when/ if the time came she was supposed to join the death eaters and essentially be ready to dedicate her whole life to it/ kill and it’s in a way such conflicting expectations and she didn’t really know how to deal with or process it, so it just added to a pile of suppressed emotions
but her parents kind of figured that if she did well they’d be relatively safe plus they improve their social standing bc look at their only daughter, out there doing the dark lord’s work and making everyone so proud
right so persephone never really learnt how to deal with her emotions in a healthy way, or establish new/ long-lasting relationships. she’s so used to being obedient and quiet and only speaking when directly spoken to, so reaching out to make friends at hogwarts was such a strange concept and she wasn’t really sure how to go about it ??? plus she was always pulled out of school for her modelling career, so that also got in the way of making deeper connections with people so tbh i feel like she had very few friends throughout her time in hogwarts. mostly sought comfort in her art & the library
this girl has years and years of anger and hate and frustration bottled up but the one comfort really was that when she turned 17 she could use her money to move away from her fam and just do her own thing while fighting for the cause, but her parents actually managed to find a way to move the money to their own vault at gringotts so her plan failed and she wouldn’t leave them and tbh when she found out it just led to all that pent up anger and frustration bursting out
so she murdered them

blaise was a pretty absentee father and maria was somewhat present but always a bit preoccupied with the war effort, which led to nadia being taken under her grandmothers wing; which is, in her opinion, the best thing that could have happened to her. from her grandmother nadia learned strength, poise, work ethic, and confidence.
nadia is extraordinarily privileged and can come off as spoiled and haughty because of it; she definitely considers herself Too Good For You and isn’t afraid to drag someone and let them know just how much they’re lacking. however, she is a big believer in living up to her surname rather than living off of it. she’s a bit of a potions prodigy and is also a skilled duelist who has worked very had to achieve all she has in terms of magical prowess.
to nadia, family is pretty much everything????her younger brother zach is her favorite person in the world and she does a lot of the things that she does in an effort to keep him from getting involved in the war. her older brother elijah was always a bit more compassionate than she and it eventually led to his death when he wasn’t as dedicated to the death eater’s cause as he ought to have been. nadia can’t prove it, obviously, but she and her family know very well that’s why he was killed, and she’s worked hard to make herself appear loyal to keep her remaining family safe----though she’s anything but.
nadia is a double agent working against the death eaters, though she’s reluctant to really work with the order itself, she will work with some select members associated with it. this is because not only does she consider the order too soft of an organization to do what she thinks /really/ needs to be done, but she also doesn’t trust just anyone with her real allegiance, so to most people she appears to be a very loyal and very valuable asset to the death eaters.
IN THAT SENSE, nadia is willing to do whatever she has to in order to decimate the death eater’s hold on magical britain (& get revenge on them for her brother’s death). she is not necessarily happy or comfortable with taking lives but she believes if tis necessary then that supersedes her feelings on the matter? basically she accepts that the winning side will need to have some people willing to do those things and she is willing to be that person even at detriment to herself.
personality wise nadia is pretty closed off and snarky, quick to cut someone down pretty much just because she can? but to those she’s loyal to she has a bit of a blind spot wherein they can get away with pretty much anything (in terms of how they treat others, not her) and she’ll brush it aside. she also tries very hard to keep a lid on her emotions and remain clinical and detached but it doesn’t always work and when she does let her emotions get the best of her it often ends poorly for her and anyone around her which only contributes to her thinking that she’s a bad person, which leads to her being willing to do bad things if she thinks its for the right reasons, etc....

So this is Eloise Spinnet, daughter of Alicia Spinnet and an unknown father. It’s always been Eloise, her mum and her twin brother, Killian and it’s never worried Eloise that her father hasn’t been around - as far as she’s concerned he doesn’t exist.
Two years ago Alicia went on a mission for the Order and never returned. Eloise and her brother don’t know if she’s dead or alive and as a consequence both chose to end their allegiance with the Order.
Eloise is now neutral, mad that the Order hasn’t managed to find her mother and mad at the Death Eaters for whatever they’ve done to her.
Her brother chose to join the Death Eaters in an attempt to find their mother, and so the pair must be careful in their interactions to avoid exposing Killian.
Aside from her brother, Eloise has basically become a lone wolf. She’s cynical and doesn’t believe anyone can be trusted.
She’s not inherently nasty but if you wanna befriend her you’ve gotta work hard to prove yourself
She’s also known for acting impulsively, meaning she’s good at getting herself into trouble and burning bridges with others.
If she had gone to Hogwarts she would’ve been sorted into Ravenclaw, her intelligence overriding practically every other aspect of her personality.
She also inherited the courageous Gryffindor trait from her mother and is unafraid of losing her life in battle.
She works in a magical antiques store - similar to Borgin and Burkes but less items involving dark magic.
