It’s been a beautiful day. I wore my pumpkin earrings to work today! And my sparkly bee socks! It was warm and breezy and cloudy, it finally feels like fall, I’m just waiting for the leaves to start turning colors. I also wore my glasses, which I know Willis likes. And I gave Prescott a hug, he needed a hug today. It was a great day, I hope i have more great days

I wish I had a better camera. I didn’t even catch what was in the tunnel.
Rhyder Prescott is my child and I must protecc the smol bean. I stole Willis’ jacket and gave it to Prescott so he could nap; Prescott always naps but we get it.

*A day in the life of Mortemberg*
The rain has passed; the crackling leaves have returned, as has the drought. Today has been a good day; Sharon took me on a day trip to the town over. The highway was dark today, the trees hung over the highway and attacked the windshield. But I got a new jacket; I hope Willis will like it. I’m tired and I know She’s getting restless, but I don’t have time to indulge her blinding ways.
The rain is coming
Mortemberg is under a severe weather warning today and tomorrow. I feel like after everything that’s happened, we need the rain to wash away the sins of this town. Mrs. Forrester and her kids are moving away, Gideon told me at dinner last night. I’m not frankly surprised; after Pastor Forrester’s death, and the following scandal, I had expected them to leave even sooner. The Five Points Baptist Church will still hold services under Gideon’s direction, actually, since he’s one of the deacons.
I wish mom would come back. Maybe the rain will bring her back to me.
