2-1 victory for USA against Norway. The balance is restored, as we’re back to honourable 1 goal losses! Comment of the match from a Norwegian standpoint was goal-scorer Morten Ask of Vålerenga after the first.
“They try to play us like the Russians did yesterday, but they’re less classy.”
Anyway, well deserved win from the US all in all, though I can’t say the US power play impressed me much. And the Norwegian team are no doubt more confident now than prior to the match. Let’s hope it amounts to something before we meet Finland on monday.
