I had these random concepts of Mortifan just sitting on my iPad for months and I don’t know why I never posted them. I love this pigeon-loving, ghost-like, ever-watching mortician, but I think I want to draw him more hunched in the future. Gotta amp up the macabre old man vibes.
He’s definitely more of a symbolic character in Malignant Remedy - as you may eventually find out - but he always seems to show up in the most pivotal of circumstances. 👀👀

Started with a sketch of Mortifan, one of Woxardam’s undertakers. He’s a bit of a folk hero, rumoured to be a ghost for he keeps to himself, speaks cryptically, and is always accompanied by a flock of pigeons. But his neighbourhood likes him cause he keeps his rates incredibly low.
