Some of my OCs that are up on my art fight (or will be shortly) from my story where there's a planet called Holiday where each country is the personification of a holiday. The focus is on Halloween since I know the most about it, but I made Christmas counterparts for the MCs a while ago and wanted to flesh them out a bit more. I forgot to put the info on Clove's card but he's 12. Also the white pupils on the kids are all intentional, it's part of the process of transforming into how you present yourself that is a thing with this world.

This is another in the redraw week that's more like a prompt redo, since the characters on the right side in the original image were based on a concept that I have since removed from this world. So instead I replaced them with my brand new, freshly design Christmas kids. Left to right order we have Dia Diabla, Felicia Calico, Mortimer Graves, Lazarus Zombitski, Mystique Enchantra, Crystal Frost, Clove Allspice, Juniper Douglas, Carrie-Boo Dearly, and Holly Garland. Yes that's right. I love horrible, horrible, directly on the nose, pun names. Tomorrow I get to show you the redraw I did of one of my all time favorite pictures I've ever made.

I FINALLY REDESIGNED MY HALLOWEENY OCs! I’ve had them since 2013. :> I last drew them in 2017 (every time I’ve drawn them I’ve redesigned them and I’m pretty happy with how they look right now so hopefully the next time I draw them they look the same XD). In order we have Mystique Enchantra, she like the big sister for everyone, Felicia Calico, the baby sister, Zar Zombitski who is eternally in need of a Nap, Mortimer Graves the angsty bean, and Dia Diabla, the baby princess of pranks and mayhem.

Mortimer Graves was a man who no one truly knew. when you asked someone about him, be it a friend, an acquaintance, his mentor, or even his own mother, they will most likely tell you hes a calm man who never shows much emotion but is passionate about his craft. Their is always a secret to someone though, and Mortimer is no exception, as he hides a rather dark secret.
A few years ago, two men murdered a friend of his right in front of him. they had no motive to do so other than anger, as the men had a terrible day at work. the two men were Mortimer's father and the friends father. Mortimer was real close to the victim his father murdered, maybe something even more than friends, but that didn't matter now that he was gone. something broke inside Mortimer, and he knew he couldn't leave this unpunished.
Rather than let law enforcement investigate, he took care of the two men his own way.
He murdered his fathers friend, using his fathers revolver. one shot to the head was enough.
He set the scene to make it look like his father was the only one who could've done it, hiding the only piece of evidence to his own involvement in the only place he knew the police wouldn't find it.
When the trial came along for his father, Mortimer gave the detective evidence of his own friends murder, adding a charge that would give his father the death sentence, which he ultimately got.
finally, before his execution, Mortimer made sure to let his father know that he was framed for one of the murders, but didn't specify anything else, making his father realize that he'd could've made an appeal for a life sentence instead, but it was too late.
As his father was hanged for his murder, Mortimer couldn't help but feel both joy and sorrow for what occurred. but one thing was for sure, he didn't regret what he did, and to this day, no one besides Mortimer knows what truly happened.

Now while I love the song (I’ve always been a fan of happy-dark type songs as I called them.) I couldn’t help but imagine Mortimer graves as the engineer, with potentially arpeggio as medic, coda as scout, victor? As heavy (he’s the best choice I have for him), and pyro………fuck it, it just be Alice enjoying the song for what it is because she loves dark and twisted shit (it’s why she married members of the yakuza in the first place.)
