mortimier replied to your post “What’s up, b*tches, it’s that time of year where Tundra comes back...”
Glad to hear you’re doing well! Keep it up!
Yessir! *salute* I shall endeavour to do my best and make you proud! :3
mortimier replied to your photo: LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I’m desperately trying to get home from work to dive into this. Hope the servers are holding up!
All fine over on EU at the moment at least! It’s midnight here, we got an 11pm release. XD
Followed you here because I was an avid reader of your old Xerath RP blog a few years back. Stayed because your cosplays and OCs are awesome.
Ooohhh, yes, Xerath! I miss the old lightbulb, though I know the muse would never come back thanks to the lore changes they did to him after everything I built up ;u; I miss yelling in all caps at people though! I’m super glad you stayed, it’s lovely seeing your name pop up and thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoy them!
Hopefully the last thing we'll have to worry about is whether or not the No Man's Sky servers will be able to handle everyone playing on day one and won't crash every hour.
Keep your fingers crossed! The best we can do is, Stay Determined.
But in all actuality after everything that Hello Games has had thrown at them, servers while sad, would be the least of everyone’s worries. there’s always offline mode! Whether or not all the discoveries you made while offline will all go to the Atlas once you’re online still isn’t known yet, but the point is even if the servers are down offline is always an option.
((Back when he was out and about exploring more, was Ezreal ever afraid of the unknown? I know that he loved exploring old tombs and discovering new things, but did he ever think that one day he might unearth something so dangerous that it would outright kill him before he got a chance to escape? The old "some things were never meant to be discovered" cliche.))
[[ Part of Ezreal's essence is that he's not afraid of the unknown by any means. If he died during an exploration, then he found comfort in the fact that he would die doing the thing he loved and be remembered that way. Also, I think the amulet counts as the "some things were never meant to be discovered" cliche, only instead of dying he's forced to fight for shit he doesn't care about for probably the rest of his life. IT did cost him his freedom so in a way it might even be worse than death. ]]

This guy comes out of nowhere and actually ends up being pretty cool despite working in a forge. Who would have thought?
…
Is that damn bed ready yet?!
Mortimier did love work in the forge, but even he needed an hour of peace outside every now and then. However, these plans took a turn when he found Xerath himself outside on the Institute front steps. The chance to meet another esteemed champion presented itself to Mort, but he had no idea how to approach this one. How does one approach an ancient wonder of the world for conversation? Head first, probably. “Good evening,” Mort said. “My name is Mortimier. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Xerath.”
The Magus had been staring off into the distance. He was preoccupied, that much was certain, and though his helmet could not reflect his thoughts, his stance seemed a touch on edge, hands lowered by claws spread wide, the occasional digit twitching in agitation.
He flinched as someone spoke, turning towards the newcomer with a wary crackle of static energy and a soft hiss. There was a long moment of silence as the ancient Shuriman regarded the other, taking in the details of his appearance, the way he stood, making assumptions, deciding his choice of words and actions.
"IS IT A GOOD EVENING?" He rumbled in reply, his flat tone void of anything save a long suffering edge that never seemed to leave. "I DO NOT NOTE ANYTHING REMARKABLE ABOUT IT." He paused, his claws twitched. "MORTIMIER? FINE." His arrogance and stand offish behaviour was nothing new; Xerath was not known for his kindness, especially on a first meeting. It took a special kind of perseverance. There was a pause.
"WHO ARE YOU? OR RATHER, WHY ARE YOU HERE?"
