Honestly fine the world they deserve everything I am the Wataei guy I will never not be the wataei guy I genuinely can not see them with other people in my head that's just not an option but polyfine is the exception polyfine I can allow myself to vibe with from time to time because they all care so much about each other they are all so special to each other as a unit and as friends and as family and the toriwata relationship is so important actually because Eichi and Tori are like the only two people we know of who have canonically made Wataru cry and with Eichi it was more implied it was still in the text but it was more implied the Neverland phonecall you will always be famous and in the climax event they have such a sweet conversation about allowing yourself to feel certain emotions and in those little bkubstars comics where Tori and Watarus are like,, partners in crime,,, planning mischief,,,and Yuzuru always caring for tori and babying him a little which he evebtually stops doing to a Largw extent and he gets to focus more in himself but he still cares for tori not just as a butler but also as a friend and Tori oh he cares so mcuh for yuzuru he was so sad when he thought Yuzuru left when he was sent to that military orphanage and I am so scared of what would happen if he ever found out and he has to find out eventually because that is a Huge thing to have going on with a family and he'll feel so bad head in hands he'll be so devastated but right now that's not the point the point is they all care so much for yuzuru like in tempest they like seeing him do his own stuff also they might meddle a bit but it's from a place of caring and Yuzuru Fushimi the beloved <3333

And the eitori relationship is soooo important too Eichi not wanting Tori to get disillusioned with the idea of him and feeling so bad about not being as perfect as tori thought and feeling so guilty because he thinks Tori woild be disappointed by the real.him and Tori seeing eichi as some stabdard to live up to and idolizing him and wantinh to be like him and eventually accepting that he can't be like eichi as matter how hard he tries so he'll just have to be the best version of himself but he still sees Eichi as a role model of sorts and they both help each other understand things better and Eichi getting chewed out my Wataru and Yuzuru that one time he made Tori cry and head in hands Tori is so good he is such a sweet kid really he works so hard and he deserves the world I want to eat him

Not a compilation of all the floriddle thoughts ive had but notes on floyd being able to and how he supports riddle! [manga spoilers below cut but no pictures!]

So many thoughts n not enough time to write them but riddle trying to learn how to prevent overblots bc he doesnt want to cause more trouble for his dorm and

Instead, not because heartslabyul doesnt care for him they are simply incapable of helping him through this specifically because they are walking reminders

But floyd? Floyd is absolutely capable of distracting riddle when hes stressed and none of the other hearts couldve done that bc they were the source of his stress ["i dont want to overblot anymore, i dont want to be a burden"] bc if theres one person riddle has No expectations of its floyd

Look if trey said anything it would just be worse for riddle [because while trey does support him im assuming riddle still feels guilty to a high degree] and cater just isnt emotionally capable of supporting him Nor cares to do so

Adeuce would give their all to help riddle [ace literally helping in the most roundabout way is so funny to me] but them just being there is a reminder to him of the overblot - so then theres Floyd who Demands headspace, Demands time and most if not all of riddle's focus and this is how floyd supports the other in his own way

But Floyds not a mind reader, and this does [evidently] end up pissing off riddle as well but short term? It works well enough

[trey picking up french words from rook, and speaking them to cater, who he knows is fluent [hc cater as fluent french!] and trey tells cater all the things he wishes he could say outloud in broken french, and cater pretends he doesnt understand [he smiles and hums, its a french song. Its a french song that trey knows all too well that cater can sing perfectly] and they both pretend they dont see the words that hang unsaid in the air around them]

Thinking how cute it would be if for epels bday [hopefully set after pomefiore arc] rookvil spend a whole night in the kitchen trying to make an apple pie for epel + attempting apple carving as decoration

They give it to epel and epel pretends he cant see the 15 other broken looking pies rook is currently hiding behind his back

Cater halloween ssr spoilers under the cut but its just me thinking about the halloween ssr translations ive seen!! Actually just Cater bc i was gonna talk about jade and then i realized it was already too long: moru rambles about family and found family

Anyways so

Cater who looks at diasomnia, thinks "so they're family- thats what family is" and then gets a call from trey and hears about the current going ons with hearts and he gets his joy back, a little bit [even if its bittersweet because next year, he'll be leaving again] but he's found family, he really has!! Adeuce being dumbasses makes me so undeniably happy as well

And how trey just calls him over n well, he doubts in cater but also seems to tease him possibly? Have to... Check caters sprite on that.. Maybe... But aside from that they are family in their own messy way and thats what hearts is

They may not have the same bonds as diasomnia, nor the strenght in which they all rely on malleus, malleus who lets his guard down to the others and apologizes [i cant tell bc im still on that the endorphin rush but it may be a foil scene to riddle for mal] and cater sees this from His perspective and

Oh hes scared of losing them, he really is- its going to be fourth year soon, he knows that and its so bittersweet because finally they have this - this warmth in heartslabyul - its something they can genuinely call family whether cater has acknowledged it yet or not

Also another note that lilia specifies to malleus that They are Not blood related, but still family RIGHT before it switches to heartslabyul? And god does the hearts found family make me happy because you can almost see and hear it happening, [im sure cater can picture whats going on too, judging from his reactions]

ANOTHER note that when cater does doubt lilia, he really does manage to overlook the full genuine meaning behind lilias words, citing that while lilia grew up in the same place, that means he hasnt experienced rebuilding relationships but its either possible that cater doesnt exactly grasp how Old lilia really is, or that he just is disillusioned and holding onto the point that no one would understand [or should have to] understand his "worthless and meaningless feelings"

This being said, the way light music club doesnt exactly Press eachother on issues, but open up to eachother regardless and support eachother is a "family" of its own you could say

Additionally Light music club's treats are interesting, esp how lilia continually brings treats that he Knows Cater and Kalim dont enjoy

I cant believe the main theme for his ssr really was family and the relationships behind it

I wont go into detail but i dont believe cater is shown to be close with his family? If you want to cite the cinderella theory here its cinderella finding peace in her mice and small animal friends [similar to heartslabyuls theme of animal friends, but id suppose this might be stretching it a bit]

Third note all the halloween ssrs working together is really sweet and highlights all their strenghts rly well and it makes me so very happy

Rambles about the hearts third years but in their first year at nrc

Aka cater abusing split card to prank poor trey aka im free from my self imposed friend enforced ban from talking about one (1) cater diamond

first year cater dragging trey out of class and laughing ever so sweetly and trey thinks it sounds like bells and trey watches how the sunlight reflects off caters hair and just the way cater is holding his hand and dragging him across campus and through the shaded areas of the courtyards to the hall of mirrors and then back to heartslabyul where they end up inevitably getting lost in the gardens and trey thinks

"Riddle would love this" and he thinks of the other whos still at home in the land of roses and worries- he still thinks riddle is fragile, a rose left out to suffocating care that he feels is both necessary and overwhelming at the same time but it keeps riddle so far out of his reach and trey doesnt notice cater slipping away from him while he thinks

Then treys snapped out of it by the other's laughter from a few hedge bushes over

And now hes getting lost in the hedge maze trying to find the disembodied laughter and hes reminded of chenya but then he thinks of cater and how their smiles differ

Che'nyas smile is wild and large, taking up the whole bottom half of his face and hes melting laughter that fades away as his body does and then theres cater whos smile is almost more of a smirk and laughter thats clear and loud but still feels to fleeting to grasp and trey keeps falling for people who are just out of his reach

So when cater laughs from just the hedge over, telling trey that they'll meet back up in class- that the one who can get in without trein noticing wins! Trey is smiling like a dumbass and he doesnt know why yet

Not exactly but he can offer a few guesses [oh he's trying but he's just going to get blindsided oh the poor boy]

And when trey shows up back to class covered in twigs and leaves and caters been sitting there in his desk this whole time chatting away with a random classmate just to turn around to wink at trey before trein descends on the poor boy for skipping class

Trey smiles crookedly at cater and thinks that just maybe the other isnt too far out of his reach, and that he just might be able to understand what hes feeling this time

Future! Lilia on the balcony of his room n then turning around to see mal and lilias smiling and then his vision focuses in on the 'family' photo he has of them all n his smile tightens a little as mal joins him on the balcony and they share in the silence without the little animal friends singing or the sound of constant alarm clocks or the loudness of sebek bursting into the room because sebek is

Hes in his own room, and he's handling this anniversary with the same silence as lilia and malleus, but its a silence punctuated with bursts of emotion still, because sebek doesnt want to forget. His window is open- and a songbird flies in, and its almost as if the other is still there.
