Is there even a real me?
At every point of my transformation, I cultivate new capacities. In my first phase of transformation, I decided to be a go-getter, and get things done. This was fairly new for me. I got a new job that my heart sought out for 'the looks of it', I would say, started running and went on to complete a half marathon, pushed myself during my thesis, and worked out quite a bit. I used to ALWAYS put myself outside my comfort zone.
In the second phase, I decided that where I am would be enough, and I would start cultivating my growth in whatever direction from there. But, in a few months, I realized, I was a little too content and started to get really comfortable not doing much. I mean I was writing my website, but nothing physical. I didn't even have a job then. Probably I was ignoring my current circumstances too much. I have to add it was really difficult.
This was when I decided, for whatever it is maybe, balance is the key. Sometimes you push a lot, but you promise and remind yourself to take some downtime for yourself.
Now every time I would decide I would be my best self, in the second instance I promised I would be content wherever it is that I am 'the grass is greener where you water it' situation.
Now I have come down to 2 core values for me - To be my most expansive self and that my will finds the way. So simply identify the smallest things I'd like to do and make way for them :)
These experiences have taught me that I can be anyone. Underneath all those layers of me, there is no singular unit that holds it all together. Rather, I am a mosaic of all the different experiences, my responses to them, all my interpretations of the experiences, my takeaways, and my lessons.
So now I am gonna go and have fun making this person of myself whoever I wanna be as I go. Day by day, One by One :)
