I thought I’d repeat a design from a previous piece because I loved it so much, but I changed it a bit and used squares instead of rectangles. I put the pattern diagonally again as it really shows some interesting movement. The metal tray I found said it was in a Turkish design. This tray would surely grab someone’s eye if placed in a cozy spot in one of the rooms in your home.

I was commissioned to make this piece to be used as a wedding gift. A person from Albania is marrying a person from Finland, and they are getting married in Sweden. So I used a previous design if two people ‘dancing’ again but with each person having the colors of their flag. The tray is blue and the iridescent glass around the people has the Swedish yellow. I love the part where the two people interlock their hands. Hopefully they will treasure this special handmade artwork as a nice memory of their wedding!!
